Episode 5

S1 Interlude - What it is to Burn - Operation Proxy Decay - Delta Green AP

Published on: 9th September, 2025

In the shadow world, some operations are too sensitive for the official channels. When a rival black-ops program, MAJESTIC, makes a move to transport a piece of recovered alien technology, a deniable asset team is activated. They are not agents; they are scalpels, deployed when the official instruments of power have failed or gone rogue. From the belly of an AC-130 gunship, this three-man team is dropped into the Arizona desert with a single, clear objective: intercept the convoy. Their handler gives them the choice of engagement—an ambush on the open desert highway where there is no cover, or a high-stakes takedown at a strategic chokepoint on a 500-foot canyon bridge. The mission is simple: neutralize the security element and deny the asset to the enemy. At all costs.

Speaker:

you find yourself sitting in the fuselage of an AC 130.

2

:

There's a dim red glow from tactical lighting surrounding you.

3

:

The year is 1998 and the air smells of ozone, hydraulic fluid and cold metal of your gear.

4

:

You don't talk because there's nothing to say.

5

:

The briefing or the invitation was a whisper and you don't really care why you're being

called.

6

:

That's a luxury for people who sit at desks and you're not one of them.

7

:

You're the instruments, the scalpels used when other scalpels have gone dull or turned

against the surgeon.

8

:

When black ops teams with their secret acronyms and their blank checks screw up or become

a problem themselves, you are the people who come in to clean it up.

9

:

That's you.

10

:

You're the top of the food chain that no one knows exists.

11

:

The load master gives a sharp silent signal, five minutes out.

12

:

The hydraulic ramp at the rear of the gunship begins to whine and the promise of hot

desert air is waiting you outside.

13

:

You look at each other in the dim red light, your faces etched in shadow.

14

:

see friends, but also professionals.

15

:

You are the tools of the trade and you have one last moment of quiet before the storm.

16

:

So let's go around and introduce ourselves.

17

:

I am Nick.

18

:

I will be the handler of this Delta Green scenario.

19

:

You can just give your first name or whatever you want to say about yourself.

20

:

Tell us your character's name and what you think you look like.

21

:

I'm Sam.

22

:

I'll be playing Burbridge today.

23

:

And before you see Cloud in tactical armor, a pretty rough salt and pepper, heavy set guy

with a very, very dirty and greasy like trucker cap that has like loves on it.

24

:

uh

25

:

He's just sitting there twiddling his thumbs.

26

:

I'm Matt.

27

:

I'm gonna be playing Agent Kakuza, aka Johnny Gagoots.

28

:

He's a pretty buff, ripped, handsome looking guy.

29

:

He's got very Romanesque features, dark hair, brown eyes, and he's sitting there thinking

to himself, kinda with his...

30

:

with his hands in his lap, almost meditating.

31

:

m

32

:

Beautiful.

33

:

All right.

34

:

I'm Dave.

35

:

My character's name is Fancy Dave.

36

:

He is short and almost unassuming, but you wouldn't think of him as short because that's

not how he carries himself.

37

:

He's got a short buzz cut.

38

:

and likes to carry aviators around with him even in the dark just because it makes him

feel cool because he knows how badass he is and he loves to polish his rifle.

39

:

Yeah, that you can smell the fresh oil on all of Fancy Dave's gear as you sit there

together.

40

:

You feel the plane descending and it touches down with a thump and a shake.

41

:

The back starts to completely roll down and the hydraulics whine and the bright sun

invades your red space.

42

:

the sunlight rolls into the back of the AC 130 and a blast of dry superheated Arizona

desert air that tastes like jet fuel and dust hits you as you disembark.

43

:

You're at Luke Air Force Base.

44

:

The only thing to note is that the

45

:

aircraft behind you with its four props ticking slowly down and coming to a stop feels

like it's catching its breath and a single black SUV parked about a hundred yards away

46

:

sits there unassuming with the sun behind it.

47

:

What do do?

48

:

Agent Kakuza is already looking at this SUV trying to determine what make and model it is,

what year, how many cylinders the engine is.

49

:

Yeah, as soon as you saw it, you could tell that it was a black suburban eight cylinder, a

typical fed car.

50

:

I think I would have my guns magically packed up faster than everyone thought and just

have it on my back, Vic.

51

:

There's our ride.

52

:

Yeah, you have all your gear slung, you're off of there.

53

:

your small frame makes it strange.

54

:

People look at you and be like, whoa, like he's carrying so much, but you're wiry and

ready.

55

:

as you're marching forward to this vehicle, a man steps out of it and he's wearing

ill-fitting suit and he looks profoundly out of place in the middle of the desert.

56

:

probably your point of contact or what they call in the program, your handler.

57

:

Yeah, Burbank's gonna very untidily throw his rucksack up over his shoulder and he's gonna

start shuffling towards the car, just unnaturally sweating as he's walking too.

58

:

Yeah, this is a hostile environment for a guy like you.

59

:

Your pit stains are already coming through your gear and you look at the handler and you

can see his black suit is also pit stained.

60

:

You are in good company.

61

:

And the man, he nervously sits there and tries to light a cigarette, but can't quite get

it.

62

:

You see that his hand is shaking.

63

:

He seems definitely out of his element in this environment.

64

:

And as you approach, he says, welcome to Arizona.

65

:

I'm the one who requested you.

66

:

Name's Butterfield.

67

:

And he pulls out a sweaty hand.

68

:

Burbankle, one hand he'll grab the hand, start shaking it, and the other hand he'll flip

up like a little Zippo lighter, like a really cheap one, and light it for him, and he'll

69

:

go, you got AC in that thing?

70

:

And like point over towards the car.

71

:

Yeah, his cigarette's dangling and it startles him, so it just falls out of his mouth

instead of lighting.

72

:

And he awkwardly shuffles and grabs it from the ground, dusts it off, and then holds it

out for you to light again.

73

:

And as you're lighting it, I'm assuming, he says, I appreciate you guys coming out on

short notice.

74

:

I know your time is valuable.

75

:

He gestures awkwardly toward the doors of the SUV, offering you a ride.

76

:

I think Johnny's instinctively gonna go for the driver's seat.

77

:

he starts walking around and you walk around the other side of the SUV and get in there

before him.

78

:

He knows that you guys are the cream of the crop when it comes to annihilating any threat.

79

:

So doesn't make any protests, goes and sits in the passenger seat.

80

:

And then the back hatch opens up where you're able to get your gear in.

81

:

I'd like to pull open the passenger seat and get a picture of my spot.

82

:

He is shaking even more than he was before.

83

:

He says, yeah, yeah, excuse me.

84

:

He tries to keep his composure and gets out.

85

:

Let me do a roll for him.

86

:

Gets out and trips a little bit as he does almost falls down, but is able to save himself.

87

:

But you can tell he knows you saw it.

88

:

He's embarrassed and he jumps in the back seat.

89

:

and starts nervously pulling things out of a briefcase and getting some briefing materials

ready.

90

:

roll down the window and put both feet like on the side and just like way back.

91

:

uh

92

:

put your feet out of the window.

93

:

Aviators down.

94

:

Gentlemen, the very least, please wear a seatbelt.

95

:

He says, well, let's get straight to it.

96

:

We don't have a lot of time.

97

:

The Intel from a recent messy operation out in Jerome, Arizona, has given us a narrow

window.

98

:

Majestic, which is an organization with the government that is counter to the mission of

Delta Green, is on the move.

99

:

and we believe they're transporting a high value asset from a research site to a black

site in Utah for further development.

100

:

He pulls out a map and sets it in between everybody in the middle of the SUV on the center

console and sort of on his lap in the back seat.

101

:

And he points to the Air Force base and then points to a route.

102

:

And says the route takes them through two distinct environments.

103

:

First is this long flat stretch of desert highway, which he circles with his finger.

104

:

And then they enter Morrison Canyon.

105

:

And I believe you probably have two windows to engage.

106

:

You can hit them here and he points to the desert area.

107

:

It's open terrain, long sight lines, but there's nowhere to hide if things go sideways.

108

:

The second option is this canyon.

109

:

and then he points to where the canyon is.

110

:

It's a choke point.

111

:

In fact, the only choke point before they get to where their black site probably is, which

we do not want any business getting close to there.

112

:

It's a single lane, or excuse me, it's a four lane bridge that spans this gorge about 500

feet deep.

113

:

There's no way around it for miles.

114

:

And if you wanted to trap them, you could probably do it there, but that's your final

call.

115

:

Well, knowing the two of you guys, I have a feeling you're going to want to hit the choke.

116

:

Much to my dismay.

117

:

Yeah, the choke point does look like it's further.

118

:

So you would probably have to do some pretty good driving to get there on time to

intercept them.

119

:

Closer is the desert flatlands, which would probably take a, which would probably be more

relaxed route.

120

:

Both will be intense for you guys, but.

121

:

Are you guys okay with me driving very fast?

122

:

flip down my aviators and just give them a nod.

123

:

Burbank's just gonna start cranking the AC and like putting his arm over the kid.

124

:

Leaning back.

125

:

Yeah, looks at you, gives you kind of a side smile.

126

:

Again, not feeling good in his own skin.

127

:

Well, the asset itself, we don't know what it is.

128

:

Intel is black on the specifics.

129

:

We just know that it's alien tech, likely gray in origin.

130

:

And it's something Majestic believes is critical to their ongoing projects.

131

:

that makes it critical to us to ensure they don't get it.

132

:

If they succeed in developing or capturing whatever this thing is, given their current

internal security problems, the consequences might be unacceptable.

133

:

So the objective is simple.

134

:

If not easy, he kind of chuckles at that.

135

:

Intercept the convoy on the bridge or in the desert, neutralize the security element.

136

:

and prevent that truck from ever reaching the black site.

137

:

You have full operational discretion on how you want to achieve this.

138

:

Demolitions, long range engagement or a direct assault.

139

:

That's your area expertise, definitely not mine.

140

:

But once the convoy is stopped, you are to secure the asset.

141

:

If you can destroy it on site, do it.

142

:

But if you think recovering it will benefit the program, that's a secondary objective.

143

:

The primary goal is denial.

144

:

Majestic cannot be allowed to have this technology.

145

:

Any questions?

146

:

I understand that you're the best at what you do But if there's anything I can answer for

you while you have me, please let me know

147

:

All I gotta worry about is getting you guys there.

148

:

I mean, for the

149

:

Yeah, he says, well, here, he points to an access road and has you drive out there and you

find a souped up black suburban a little better than the one you're currently in.

150

:

This looks like it's agent Butterfield's car.

151

:

You can tell that this one.

152

:

you.

153

:

Yes, this one's turbocharged and armor plated as well.

154

:

I didn't want to say nothing.

155

:

appreciate anything.

156

:

But you know, this is nice.

157

:

We don't have an unlimited budget, but we do have some cash to throw around.

158

:

But as soon as you get or destroy the asset, please report in and he throws you a sat

phone.

159

:

does this car have like a sunroof or anything, or is it just like completely armored and,

know?

160

:

It's completely armored, but it does have a sunroof.

161

:

You're guessing and hoping it's bulletproof glass.

162

:

All right, I'm gonna position myself in the sun roof just because, know.

163

:

That's what I would do with my long range rifle and try to like scout for uh our driver.

164

:

All right, you open the sunroof, you're getting used to the vehicle, you're loaded, you

have your weapons out.

165

:

Sam, what are you doing and keeping set up for yourself?

166

:

Yeah, Burbank's gonna keep in the back seat with his light machine gun out, of ready to

take the middle spot if we need suppressive.

167

:

But he's actually gonna ask this kid what type of capabilities does Majestic have?

168

:

What are they transporting it with?

169

:

Well, we haven't seen this exact convoy.

170

:

We've just seen their past convoys.

171

:

Typically they have three to four cars and some sort of transport truck with them.

172

:

They are usually armor plated is our guess.

173

:

The truck itself is not typically.

174

:

It's just a semi truck usually.

175

:

But we aren't totally sure.

176

:

We just have been monitoring their movement and got word that

177

:

a larger convoy was leaving.

178

:

As far as operational capacity of Majestic, it varies.

179

:

Could be a strike team with them, could just be some security nuts.

180

:

We don't know for sure.

181

:

So you looked at the map, whoever's gonna try to plan like where you want to meet them or

the route can either you roll a navigate or a military science land.

182

:

one of us would be best at that.

183

:

So I have to do it.

184

:

Nice.

185

:

All right, that's going to be what I'm assuming is a success with the 58.

186

:

You start mapping a path.

187

:

You probably gain yourself about 15 minutes with this path that you've come up with.

188

:

And you know that it's probably time to get going.

189

:

You have about two and a half hours to get there if you want to get there before the

convoy.

190

:

All right, buckle yourselves in as much as you can.

191

:

He has everybody wearing their seatbelts.

192

:

Yeah, I'm not gonna pop open the sunroof until we get closer.

193

:

And Sam, I just imagine you having your light machine gun between your legs.

194

:

Like, all right, all right.

195

:

Yeah, so you mapped out a service road that will take you beside the highways and you see

some unpaved winding ones that would cut off a significant amount of time.

196

:

You're able to take that with ease.

197

:

Go ahead and roll your drive.

198

:

so close.

199

:

It's a success, but it's a 68.

200

:

Testing fate.

201

:

Yeah, you take these service roads at great ease and the service roads start to turn into

paved roads and you have to get back on the highway.

202

:

And up ahead, are starting to see some sirens.

203

:

How fast are you driving?

204

:

Um

205

:

I was assuming at least like 75.

206

:

Okay, so go taking it slow, all right?

207

:

Just kidding.

208

:

Yeah.

209

:

Up ahead, you start to see a jackknifed semi truck trailer and there's a detour off that

will probably cost you some time.

210

:

And you see some cops and a few ambulances around the jackknifed semi truck.

211

:

What do you do?

212

:

Do you take the detour?

213

:

Do you stop and talk to them or do something else?

214

:

if you guys want to chime in, let me know, but I'm leaning to-

215

:

happening, can I pop open the sun roof and kind of look down my scope to get a better view

of like what's happening down there?

216

:

Yeah, you have cars in front of you, you pop out and look, and it does look like the semi

truck has just crashed.

217

:

This isn't the majestic one is your guess.

218

:

It looks like a Mack truck.

219

:

In fact, it has the Burger King logo on the side and it's just been in an accident.

220

:

Do we have any credentials?

221

:

Like if we have badges that we can flash at the cops, will they be able to let us through

or is that not something that we normally have experience with?

222

:

Is it we have to like operate outside of that range?

223

:

you're currently FBI

224

:

Okay, yeah, I think I'll pull up to them and I'll be like, gentlemen, I got some important

business that I gotta take care of.

225

:

Can I squeeze through here?

226

:

Yeah, there's a small town sheriff in a cowboy hat, comes over toothpick in his mouth,

spits it out on the ground.

227

:

Your law enforcement?

228

:

And he looks at your tactical gear.

229

:

What type of law enforcement are you?

230

:

We are the FBI, sir.

231

:

Feds.

232

:

Yeah, we love Feds coming around here.

233

:

um

234

:

really do.

235

:

Ha ha!

236

:

Yeah, go ahead and roll Persuade.

237

:

Plus 30.

238

:

So 30 added to my number to make it worse?

239

:

Okay.

240

:

No, no, no, to make it better because of the law enforcement thing.

241

:

yeah.

242

:

So you're looking for 60.

243

:

All right, yeah, he sees you're packing some gear.

244

:

we don't necessarily enjoy federal law enforcement in the area, we do know that you have

some sway.

245

:

you know, next time you don't even have to stop the ass, just blow on by.

246

:

We ain't gonna stop you.

247

:

If you say so, I thought I was being polite, but I appreciate it.

248

:

have a good day.

249

:

he grabs another toothpick out, puts it in his mouth and you guys blow past them.

250

:

And yeah, what's the tact on speed now?

251

:

You have the open road in front of you.

252

:

I'm practically flooring it at this point.

253

:

Okay, yeah, you see the gas gauge tapping above 90 here and there and getting into the

hundreds as well.

254

:

It is pushing this machine.

255

:

Go ahead and roll drive again to avoid overheating.

256

:

46.

257

:

All right, yeah, you have a good feel for this already.

258

:

The turbo charge and the air intake in the hood cool things down just fine in this desert

heat.

259

:

This is probably the time to talk about game plan for once you get to the bridge.

260

:

find me a good spot to shoot.

261

:

assuming we want to find some way to slow them down once they get on the bridge.

262

:

What's our ETA compared to them?

263

:

Your guess is based on what Butterfield said about their ETA, is you'll get there about 20

minutes before they do.

264

:

Anyone have some C4?

265

:

Maybe we could just blow that damn thing.

266

:

That's exactly what I was thinking.

267

:

He's gonna pull out his rucksack.

268

:

He's gonna like jumble through it because it's a mess and pull out like two pads of C4.

269

:

All right, yeah, the C4 is out doing some prep on it beforehand.

270

:

Now this is C4 is set with timers, not a trigger device.

271

:

So you would have to set a time.

272

:

What would you guess like for time wise to get to plant C4 and get out of there?

273

:

I would say like...

274

:

10, 15 minutes.

275

:

Okay.

276

:

Okay.

277

:

So going off the ETA.

278

:

All right.

279

:

Anything you're prepping Dave?

280

:

I mean, I feel like my weapons have been pretty lubed.

281

:

I want to maybe just like adjust my scope, know, calibrate the scope.

282

:

Do I get the sense that if I needed to, I could shoot these timers and it would cause an

explosion?

283

:

Because I'm watching him struggle with this.

284

:

I'm sure it's a thought that has crossed my mind.

285

:

Yeah, you know that there needs to be some electrical current to ignite C4, so you

probably would not be able to shoot them too.

286

:

But if you had a skill that you think you could aid, like electronics or even heavy, or

even demolitions yourself, you could try to take a crack at it.

287

:

You have a unique set of skills, Bravank.

288

:

Ha ha ha!

289

:

Yeah, no pressure.

290

:

Okay, you're rolling up.

291

:

There's dust kicking up on this barren road.

292

:

You've passed very few cars.

293

:

You're within about 15 minutes of the rendezvous and being able to set up your ambush.

294

:

Agent Kakuza, what are you thinking for yourself?

295

:

Um.

296

:

I'm never too comfortable far away from the automobile.

297

:

I'd like to be somewhat nearby in case we need to make a getaway.

298

:

I can get right in the car, started up a week ago.

299

:

Um, but I'm going to be positioned somewhat nearby.

300

:

I'm going to be, uh, keeping an eye on everything.

301

:

I got my sub machine gun out, um, which has a range of 50 meters.

302

:

So

303

:

I'm not going to be too far away from where this is going down, as far as helping set this

stuff up, I'm a little in the dark in terms of explosive knowledge and tactics and stuff

304

:

like that.

305

:

So I'm kind of flying by the seat of my pants here a little bit.

306

:

Yeah, roll your military science land and see if you can come up with some ideas here.

307

:

Alright.

308

:

nah, not looking great.

309

:

I got a 59.

310

:

Okay.

311

:

Yeah, you're you're right.

312

:

You're you want to stick by the vehicle, get in, get out.

313

:

I'm just gonna like lock and load my rifle and look at Freddy like, you know, cause I know

he's gonna quit and stuff.

314

:

I got your back.

315

:

Burbank's just kind of like fiddling with the c4 and swearing under his breath as he like

Accidentally like misplaces something and that puts it back the right spot

316

:

I could see that you're swearing a little bit and I'm just going to be like, you good over

there?

317

:

It should be fine, fine.

318

:

Unless you want come and help.

319

:

Yeah, you look in the rear view mirror.

320

:

The AC has been blasting.

321

:

He was sweating outside, but for some reason, even with the AC, he's back there sweating

even more.

322

:

And you get to a giant canyon wall and beyond it, you start to see a massive bridge.

323

:

The bridge is a lonely stretch of steel and concrete spanning this 500 foot deep gorge.

324

:

And there are no cars on it right now.

325

:

Each side of the highway has two lanes and you're able to pull up wherever you want to on

this bridge.

326

:

ah Is there any kind of like, since you said we're in a canyon or over a canyon, is there

any kind of large rock formation or anything that I could potentially park behind so that

327

:

these guys won't be pulling up and seeing an obvious giant suburban parked on the side of

the road before they hit this bridge?

328

:

Yeah, go ahead and roll survival.

329

:

See if he can find something.

330

:

Oh, that is bad.

331

:

That's bad.

332

:

I got a 97.

333

:

Okay, since you're spotting things for him, Agent Dave, you can also rule your survival.

334

:

My survival is not good.

335

:

Yeah.

336

:

I rolled a 99.

337

:

My survival is like 10%.

338

:

Crazy.

339

:

Yeah, might say we're both like, what do you think?

340

:

cream of the crop over here.

341

:

you start pulling up on this side of this massive bridge and it does look like you were on

a mountain road and there's nowhere to pull off the vehicle.

342

:

And you just see this hulking long sheet of steel and concrete in front of you.

343

:

You could probably...

344

:

put yourself on the opposite side of the road.

345

:

That's what I'm thinking.

346

:

I'm going to, make it look a little, a little less obvious, I'm going to get on the other

side of the road and I'm to put my hazards on and I'm going to kind of make it look like,

347

:

the car might just be broken down or overheated or something like that.

348

:

That way it's like, we're not too obvious, but you know, if we have to stick out, it's not

going to look like we're obviously here to take them out.

349

:

It could just be a coincidence.

350

:

Can we take maybe the floor jack and kind of put it under the car a little bit?

351

:

Not to actually lift it up, but to make it look like, oh.

352

:

And then maybe take a spare tire out and put it next to the car too.

353

:

Somewhere like the roof.

354

:

if either of you guys had like a smoke grenade or anything like that, I could put it

underneath the car and make it look like the car's got smoke coming out of it.

355

:

The only grenade I have that goes boom is it.

356

:

same.

357

:

wishful thinking.

358

:

mean, I could maybe try to take the grenade apart and pour out the gunpowder and just kind

of like white it on the road and have it kind of flare up and cause some smoke.

359

:

Yeah.

360

:

someone with those capabilities could.

361

:

Yeah, somebody with demolitions would have to do that.

362

:

So that's the plan of action.

363

:

Might need to roll demolitions for me.

364

:

it gonna be, sweaty boy?

365

:

I guess I could give it another shot.

366

:

This one's a lot cleaner than the the the C4 I had so

367

:

do it a lot of heavy lifting already.

368

:

I'll buy you a steak when we get home.

369

:

24

370

:

There you go.

371

:

Yeah, you have it ready to ignite.

372

:

And tell me about where on the bridge would you go?

373

:

They're going to enter from the bottom here on this side.

374

:

And where would you pull up?

375

:

Well, we're planning on like blowing this bridge so that they can't cross it, right?

376

:

So I'm thinking we want to be on the same side as them in case we need further

intervention.

377

:

So we probably want to be a little bit further to the south.

378

:

and where, you know, south of wherever the explosion is going to occur as well.

379

:

So trap yourself with them basically.

380

:

Yeah, and you know, we're already positioned on the opposite side of the street, so if we

do need to make a getaway, we could just drive away in the direction that we're already

381

:

pointed.

382

:

Perfect.

383

:

Let's go over to our marksman.

384

:

You could probably scale some of these rocks on the side and set up.

385

:

There's some rock cover, but it's not like you have a sniper blind or anything.

386

:

They will probably find you at some point.

387

:

guess I'd just like to pick probably the best spot where like, you know, I'll have at

least a couple shots where I could take some good shots and then relocate if I have to.

388

:

Yeah, go ahead and roll your search.

389

:

At the very least, you got the side of the car.

390

:

Nice 44.

391

:

Okay, critical success.

392

:

Yeah, you see that you could probably hike up to a small crevice here and buy yourself a

few minutes of weapons-free shots without moving.

393

:

Yeah.

394

:

Sounds good.

395

:

Yeah.

396

:

personal radios that are short wave so you can communicate via headset.

397

:

Our demolitions guy.

398

:

What are you doing?

399

:

This is a big bridge.

400

:

Like you could maybe climb down a little bit and get it under it.

401

:

You could just put it on the ground where it is.

402

:

Are you trying to knock the whole thing down?

403

:

You're trying to just blow a hole in it?

404

:

Trying to time it so it blows up the cars?

405

:

Like what do you think?

406

:

was going to say what kind of bridge is it?

407

:

Because if it's something like a suspension, he's going to do it to the wires or do it to

the bottom.

408

:

Basically, the intent is to, if not blow the bridge, then make them have to double back

because of the divider.

409

:

Yeah, go ahead and give that demolitions a roll again.

410

:

Not looking good, 81.

411

:

Okay, yeah, your guess is that you could put it anywhere below the bridge.

412

:

You're not sure, you're not a bridge engineer, like, or a civil engineer.

413

:

You've blown things up, but your guess is right below the side they're on is where it's

gonna be best.

414

:

So how are you gonna get down there?

415

:

there like a clear like bridge maintenance access or something like that or is it just

416

:

Go ahead and roll your search.

417

:

So if I got a zero, it's just five.

418

:

So that's an incredible roll.

419

:

yeah, you see across the other side of the highway, the side they'll be going, there is an

access ladder that goes down to the underbelly of the bridge.

420

:

And there is a second layer of steel under it.

421

:

Looks pretty precarious, but you think you could climb down and do it.

422

:

Yep, our banks just gonna start making this way over with his rucksack.

423

:

He's gonna leave his light machine gun at the car for now.

424

:

Okay, okay, you go down there, strip yourself of some of the weight, you get under there

and it's feels windy down here without the side of the highway protecting you.

425

:

And you see a place where you can easily plant both charges.

426

:

Are you doing them in the same spot or different spots?

427

:

Uh, probably different spots.

428

:

He'll probably put, two on the side that is, going to be the side that, the convoys coming

through and then one on the side of our side.

429

:

Well, the, you know, the, the other side.

430

:

Yeah, great.

431

:

So gonna blow both sides.

432

:

You go past where the SUV is and get them planted and set your timer.

433

:

Yeah, and he can he add an extra five or 10 minutes on the one for the opposite side that

the convo is not going on?

434

:

Absolutely.

435

:

Yeah.

436

:

Over to Agent Kakuza, where are you setting up?

437

:

Are you setting up in the armored car?

438

:

Are you being weapons ready?

439

:

Are you pretending to work on it?

440

:

I think I think I'm going to be pretending to work on it.

441

:

I don't want to necessarily have the hood open or anything that could potentially slow us

down.

442

:

But I am going to be in the back of the car.

443

:

You know, so from a distance it could look like I'm fiddling with something back there or

getting out a spare tire.

444

:

But behind the car so that the know, convoy can't really see it I'm gonna have my

submachine gun out ready for anything that might be coming

445

:

All right.

446

:

Dave, any preparation for you up in the rocks?

447

:

think I'm just gonna get, you know, as low as I can.

448

:

Yeah, and set up my rifle and just make sure I have a good angle for where I think that

they're coming from.

449

:

Yeah, you can see behind you a little bit too.

450

:

And so you'll be able to see them approaching as well with that critical success on

finding the spot.

451

:

And now it's just the waiting game.

452

:

Agent Burbridge, you're coming back up or are going to stay on the underbelly?

453

:

I haven't set everything up.

454

:

He's going to come back up and get to the suburban and kind of like hide in it, ready to

pop out.

455

:

That's right.

456

:

Yeah.

457

:

I'm gonna tell Burbridge not to take shotgun in case I need to crawl into the car from the

other side.

458

:

I don't want my entrance impeded.

459

:

You got it boss.

460

:

That.

461

:

D.

462

:

across like the backseat.

463

:

Okay, laying across the back seat.

464

:

do we have any-

465

:

maybe like flares or something I could use as like an improvised roadblock so that no cars

come down our side of the street so that like some random civilian just gets blown up in

466

:

the middle of this all happening.

467

:

Yeah, you go ahead and roll luck to see what you got.

468

:

Alright, and that's just a regular D100.

469

:

94.

470

:

All right.

471

:

Yeah, nothing that you can tell is in there.

472

:

You search through the SUV quickly before this convoy bears down on you.

473

:

But yeah, no like caution signs or flares or anything.

474

:

Okay.

475

:

Well, good luck.

476

:

hopefully that truck is still blocking the road back there.

477

:

Yeah.

478

:

You all sit there and you're used to this moment before a ambush or a op gets started.

479

:

It's the quiet before the storm as some people call it.

480

:

And it has this feeling about it

481

:

Time gets elongated and extended.

482

:

It feels unnaturally long as you sit there.

483

:

You feel sweat starting to beat up all over your body.

484

:

The guns in your hands feel extra warm and the smell of those firearms also permeate the

air.

485

:

And you just sit there listening to the tick of seconds go by.

486

:

Go ahead and roll alertness, everyone.

487

:

my god.

488

:

no.

489

:

he actually fell asleep in the back of the car?

490

:

96.

491

:

Okay.

492

:

Gagooz rolled an 88.

493

:

goods.

494

:

58 terrible

495

:

yeah.

496

:

So no feelings of alertness, I guess.

497

:

go ahead and roll me luck, Agent Burbridge.

498

:

That is the percentile right perfect got a 20

499

:

The convoy starts ripping in.

500

:

Dave, I will give you a chance if you want to take any shots or you waiting for the

explosion.

501

:

do I, do I get the sense of which,

502

:

Like, I guess the white one here is the one that's carrying, you know, the alien and yeah.

503

:

Yeah.

504

:

I'm going take a shot at one of the, one of the tires, I think.

505

:

Okay, go ahead, roll your firearms and roll your luck.

506

:

for a rifle with a scope.

507

:

So that's 54, that's good.

508

:

Is it 60?

509

:

And then for luck,

510

:

And that's a three.

511

:

Bam.

512

:

you time the shot with the explosion on the bridge somehow.

513

:

You didn't have a timer or anything, but it goes off.

514

:

And in addition to that, you see this first car driving over as you start to hear, and the

bridge shakes and starts to shutter under your feet.

515

:

And this first car explodes up in the air.

516

:

flies over the median and smashes down on the top of it and looks like it's gonna explode.

517

:

There is flames coming out of the bottom of the engine and gas is already sputtering up.

518

:

This car screeches to a stop and blocks the way right in front of the hole and the semi

truck with a missing tire jackknifes around and gets pinned.

519

:

inside the bridge at an angle.

520

:

And this car that's right behind it careens and almost slams into it but stops right in

front of it.

521

:

And the truck here stops as well.

522

:

and you start to see men getting out.

523

:

Okay.

524

:

immediately one guy jumps out with his AR held from this.

525

:

He's using the doors covered, doesn't know which way to point.

526

:

Over here, the other side, somebody is dropped down under the car and is looking around.

527

:

Up here, similar, people are using the car doors as cover.

528

:

Somebody's staying in the car in this one.

529

:

The truck has yet to move and you can't see.

530

:

What's going on inside there quite yet?

531

:

We are over to you agent.

532

:

Good goods.

533

:

What are you doing?

534

:

So if I have enough time, I think I would like to stay on the passenger side of...

535

:

swing the front passenger door open and kind of like slide into the driver's seat.

536

:

And I would like to hopefully get away from the car that's about to blow up that came onto

our side.

537

:

And if possible...

538

:

swing the car around and use the truck as like a makeshift barricade at the south side of

the bridge so that we could use it for cover.

539

:

Yeah, so you hop back in the car and you jump in and go ahead and roll your drive.

540

:

Just barely not good enough, I got a 72.

541

:

my original plan was to actually leave the bridge and then potentially park perpendicular

to the road on the south side so that we could get out of the car and use it as cover.

542

:

but I have a feeling I'm about to fail at that.

543

:

Yeah, so you get in and you start fumbling around.

544

:

We will get to your failure in a second, but you're getting ready to drive.

545

:

Sam, what are you doing?

546

:

Yeah, he's gonna snap awake, pop open the skylight, and he is going to lob a grenade right

out of it aiming for that northern truck, like car, that's now stopped.

547

:

Yeah, you see two majestic agents getting out and preparing.

548

:

You stand up, your athletics to throw that grenade.

549

:

Okay, looks like an eight.

550

:

All right.

551

:

Okay, roll me another one for the lethality.

552

:

13?

553

:

Yeah, yeah 13.

554

:

me look at your lethality on here.

555

:

my God, it's 15.

556

:

oh

557

:

You see Agent Burbridge stand out of the sun roof and just send a grenade flying.

558

:

There's some sweat that comes off of his hand in slow motion as it does.

559

:

And the grenade goes right between one of the majestic agent's legs under the car and

boom, you see the car jump up in the air and land exactly where it was.

560

:

But this time there is shrapnel.

561

:

and legs of other agents all around.

562

:

And it's a very gory scene and then fire starts to surround the car people inside trying

to get out of the mangled thing as this fire starts to heat up the car around them.

563

:

Agent Dave, what are you doing?

564

:

I'm watching all this through my scope and giving myself a little chuckle because that's

pretty funny.

565

:

through your scope, you see this car, only two people have gotten out of it.

566

:

No one's exited the truck yet.

567

:

And these two are looking around trying to figure out what just happened with that

explosion.

568

:

And then there are two guys getting out of the semi truck.

569

:

I think I want to take this opportunity to try and pop off one of these guys who was

confused and not really knowing what's going on.

570

:

Yeah, roll your firearms.

571

:

You doing a single shot or you doing like a spray?

572

:

Um, no, it's gonna be a single-leg sniper shot.

573

:

Yes.

574

:

That's a 36.

575

:

Okay, hits, go ahead and roll for that lethality.

576

:

43?

577

:

Okay, yeah, so you're lethalities 10, so you oh do not roll under it.

578

:

your rifle fires And it takes this guy as he's exiting the car right in the chest and it

doesn't just punch a hole, it hits like a sledgehammer.

579

:

He goes forward momentarily, but then the momentum just jerks him back into the car door

and he slumps down.

580

:

gravely injured, but still up and holding his weapon.

581

:

As you're trying to whip this car around, agent Gagoots, a person peeks out of this

semi-truck door and stands up out of the window and pumps shell after shell into the car.

582

:

and they hit the windshield as you're trying to get around.

583

:

It obscures your vision.

584

:

It's bulletproof, but the shells have dented it and cracked it to the point where you were

unable to see.

585

:

And your failure at driving means you hit the side over here and it's no damage to you or

the car necessarily, but you are incapacitated in the vehicle unless you want to try to

586

:

drive again.

587

:

and both of you are still in it.

588

:

I think I am gonna try to drive it again.

589

:

Because if I get out of the car where I am now, I know I'm gonna be in lot of trouble.

590

:

I want to give it another attempt.

591

:

not necessarily poke my head out the window, but try to look around the damage.

592

:

Maybe like kind of almost kind of like have my body in the passenger seat while my arms

are still steering and, piloting the car.

593

:

Yeah, so when it gets to your turn, we'll do a drive minus 20%.

594

:

Okay.

595

:

Dave, you see in this truck, somebody...

596

:

climbs through the back window with a large bag and you see them unpacking a, what looks

to be a machine gun with a mount as they are getting ready to mount it up on the pickup

597

:

truck.

598

:

They will need a turn to do that, but they're trying to get set up and.

599

:

more people open, oh, just kidding.

600

:

The back of the semi truck opens slightly and somebody jumps out onto the hood of this car

and starts firing at your car, Matt.

601

:

They're hitting it, hitting it.

602

:

boy.

603

:

Nothing breaks through or damages you yet, but they are definitely zeroed in on your

vehicle.

604

:

Agent Burbridge, it is your turn.

605

:

Alright, Burbridge is gonna lob another grenade at this cluster of people or this car

directly south of the trailer.

606

:

yeah, give me that athletics.

607

:

87.

608

:

Okay.

609

:

Yeah, you throw it, it goes a little wide and lands harmlessly past them and then blows

up.

610

:

It does require the one who jumped out of the truck to jump and dive for cover.

611

:

So he's on the ground, but he still has his weapon leveled at the car.

612

:

Over to you, Agent Kaboot.

613

:

Over to you, Agent Kakooza.

614

:

All right, so you said I'm rolling the drive again, but it's minus 20.

615

:

Yep.

616

:

24.

617

:

Let's go, right?

618

:

Yeah.

619

:

you have about, let's see.

620

:

When driving a vehicle, you have about...

621

:

20 meters of turn.

622

:

So, yeah.

623

:

You can get about a little past there.

624

:

You just driving straight that way.

625

:

I'm driving straight that way.

626

:

I don't know if I, if this is a mechanical thing that is possible while I'm doing this,

but is there any way that I can like crack the window and just like lava grenade out the

627

:

window as I pass them by?

628

:

m

629

:

Yeah, you can give it a shot.

630

:

So you roll down the window and then give me athletics minus 40.

631

:

minus 40, so I got to get.

632

:

I gotta get like 20 or above.

633

:

And I did.

634

:

I got a 19.

635

:

Nice, you're lobbing it at the truck.

636

:

Okay, roll your lethality on it.

637

:

That truck is the one that's mounting the machine gun, right?

638

:

Yeah, that's who I want to.

639

:

All right, so lethality is another D100, but it's the lethality of the grenade that I'm

trying to get under, All right, that's a 52.

640

:

All right, so we'll take the five and do that for damage.

641

:

It blows up, the guy in the back of the truck had cover from the side of the truck, but

the truck is repositioned from the grenade and blows off to the side a little bit.

642

:

This guy has to drop and take cover.

643

:

And then the one in the back is gonna lose a turn setting up the machine gun as he's

laying in the bed from the explosion.

644

:

and it is their turn again.

645

:

This one on the median starts firing at you again.

646

:

Some bullets hit the back of it, but it's not making purchase.

647

:

Dave, you're looking through your scope down at these guys, right?

648

:

You see the one who crawled under this car peek his rifle out and start scanning for you.

649

:

Doesn't seem to see you yet, but is on the hunt from under the car.

650

:

And you see the other guy continuing to set up the machine gun.

651

:

And then the driver of the semi truck.

652

:

you hear the engines are trying to get back on as it's jackknifed in there, trying to get

it started.

653

:

Agent David is your turn.

654

:

Alright, I am going to try to take out the guy looking for the machine gun and then after

that I want to try to, or setting up the machine gun rather, and after that I want to try

655

:

to relocate depending on how that goes.

656

:

Okay, yeah, so he's undercover.

657

:

So go ahead.

658

:

You'll make your shot minus 30.

659

:

or

660

:

Would I be able to destroy the machine gun with a shot?

661

:

You can make her call a shot.

662

:

That's gonna be the same minus.

663

:

So you can give it a

664

:

the same thing.

665

:

Let's just let's take out the squishy bits.

666

:

Yeah, there you go.

667

:

Here we go.

668

:

I rolled an 81.

669

:

No, is that an 81?

670

:

Yes, 81.

671

:

Yeah, so you hit the side of the truck, you see him glance away.

672

:

It's not gonna slow him down much, but definitely a miss.

673

:

And it is over to you, Agent Burbridge.

674

:

Burbridge is gonna pop his head out.

675

:

Does he see that other guy with a rifle scanning for agent Dave?

676

:

Okay, he is going to get his light machine gun and kind of try and suppress the guy

Setting up the heavy machine gun.

677

:

He's gonna take some shots at him while we're flying away

678

:

Yeah.

679

:

So full auto on, or are you just going a few bursts?

680

:

Yeah, full auto, just trying to like make it so he has to hunker down and maybe lose

another turn.

681

:

It's not gonna work, that's a 96.

682

:

Okay, yeah, you're firing over there.

683

:

You're in a moving car.

684

:

It's definitely tough.

685

:

You're swapping between grenades and trying to lug your machine gun up there and get it

set up.

686

:

the bullets glance away harmlessly.

687

:

All right, Agent Gagoots, what you doing?

688

:

uh I don't know how much more bridge we got to drive on but I'd like to At the end of the

bridge I'd like to hit the you know hit the ebrake and do a you know swerve around and

689

:

Position the car hopefully in like one kind of like motion So that the passenger side of

the car is perpendicular to the side of the road to the road

690

:

Yeah, you're flying around and as you're doing that, the sound of Agent Burbridge's other

charge goes off on the other side and you feel the bridge shake again.

691

:

Agent Dave, you see the bridge starting to sag in the middle with that second charge going

off just a little bit.

692

:

Little concerning, but not a priority probably right now.

693

:

Go ahead and roll that drive again and minus 20%.

694

:

Still minus 20, okay.

695

:

That is a 10.

696

:

Let's go.

697

:

So you flip the car around, pull the E-brake, slam it and drift to the side and you are

blocking the back of the bridge.

698

:

Your passenger side is facing your targets and Sam or agent Burbridge, are just sitting

there at the top like a jack in the box prime target for the enemies.

699

:

we will go over to them and see what happens.

700

:

This guy on the median has a submachine gun.

701

:

He's going to try to take a shot at you, minus 40 because of the range.

702

:

62, he's not gonna do it.

703

:

And another one who gets out of the passenger side of the semi truck.

704

:

lays down on the median and he has an AR with a scope that you can see Dave, but he's

pointing it towards Sam and he's gonna fire at you Sam.

705

:

Sam, what's your armor?

706

:

Armor rating is five.

707

:

Or is it six because of my Kevlar helmet?

708

:

Okay, yeah.

709

:

Six.

710

:

Let's see.

711

:

A bullet comes straight from this AR, hits you in the shoulder.

712

:

You've felt this sting before.

713

:

You know, whatever combat you've been in, this hurts a lot.

714

:

And you take three damage and...

715

:

you will have a hard time lobbing any type of grenade.

716

:

You can probably still fire your machine gun, but your shoulder is beat up from this

round.

717

:

And Dave, you see the guy getting the machine gun ready.

718

:

He fully has it out.

719

:

He's laying down in the bed and he chambers the rounds, but is still not ready to start

firing since he's been delayed a few times.

720

:

And the guy under the car is gonna roll his search.

721

:

doesn't look like he's got a beat on you quite yet from your vantage point as you're

looking down on them.

722

:

and the one you hit previously stands up and is gonna take another wild submachine gun

shot at you, Sam.

723

:

66, he critically fails and as he's laying there, you see him hold out a submachine gun

from the ground and he somehow shoots himself in the fucking foot and you see like his toe

724

:

explode and it's just his own foot gore all over the place and he faints.

725

:

from the pain of it.

726

:

All right, we are back to our marksman, Agent Dave, what are you doing?

727

:

Alright, I'm gonna take one more shot at this guy and the machine gun as he's trying to

chamber this stuff.

728

:

I want his ass gone.

729

:

27.

730

:

go ahead and roll that Luthality, so just the D100 again.

731

:

And if you get under your percentage, you automatically kill them.

732

:

40.

733

:

You shoot him right in his left ass cheek that's poking out and you see his back pocket

explode in blood and fat and he screams and howls in pain.

734

:

It echoes through the canyon.

735

:

He is not quite dead, but is definitely seen better days.

736

:

Sam, we're over to you.

737

:

All right, Burbridge is going to kind of you know, like, center himself after getting

shot.

738

:

And he is going to level and do a burst at the heavy machine gunner to try and end him.

739

:

looks like a 27.

740

:

27, all right, go ahead and roll that lethality.

741

:

30

742

:

Okay, so what's the, on a burst, let me see.

743

:

Okay, so you have three meters of coverage, so you can hit that.

744

:

So you hit both of them.

745

:

The guy in the back of the truck, how do you finish him?

746

:

He just got shot in the ass and what's the finishing shot from this burst?

747

:

Shoot him in the dick!

748

:

I think he's like popped out screaming.

749

:

Yeah, and you just see a line of bullets straight from head to taint just go whoompf.

750

:

yeah.

751

:

He rolls over dead.

752

:

Yeah, he's unzipped with bullets.

753

:

The guy who's has cover behind the truck also gets hit, but he gets hit in the leg and

falls down.

754

:

He has an AR and is trying to level it back towards you, Sam.

755

:

and we will go over to Agent Cacuza.

756

:

What are you doing?

757

:

So I successfully positioned the car so that the passenger side is facing the enemies,

correct?

758

:

um I'm gonna open up the driver's side door and Since we're in a suburban.

759

:

I'm gonna I'm gonna stand on the little Whatever you call it the step that like helps you

get out of the car I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna poke my head over the top of the car

760

:

using the car as cover and I'm gonna if it's close enough, I'm gonna I'm gonna just give

it the truck

761

:

with the tractor trailer.

762

:

I'm going to just send a spray of bullets towards the gas tank, hopefully to blow it up.

763

:

Oh, hell yeah.

764

:

So your range is gonna give you a minus 20 and the called shot on the gas tank is another

minus 20.

765

:

So it's a long shot, but you can give it a go.

766

:

That's a two.

767

:

Um, I see him, you know, as I was pulling the car around, I see him trying to take out

Burbridge.

768

:

So I did not appreciate that my passenger just got shot.

769

:

I pull out of the car, I peek over the top and I'm like, Hey motherfucker!

770

:

And I just shoot him.

771

:

right in the head with my submachine gun.

772

:

Basically make him unrecognizable.

773

:

And that's that.

774

:

in the car, Agent Burbridge, you just hear, hey, motherfucker.

775

:

And then a shot, and it's almost like slow motion as you kind of look to see where he's

shooting.

776

:

And you see it smash into this guy's head.

777

:

Somehow this shot turns his head into a canoe.

778

:

Like it is like a tunnel.

779

:

has been bored through the top of it as he falls over a limp sack of flesh now.

780

:

We are now going over to them.

781

:

All right, we're gonna roll a search for our sniper under the car.

782

:

Ooh, okay.

783

:

Let's see, still searching around for you.

784

:

This guy in the median is going to drop down and take cover behind the car.

785

:

And you see him smacking on the back of it and.

786

:

one of the semi truck drivers.

787

:

He starts to try to get it in gear now that he's starting it.

788

:

He still can't get it.

789

:

He's still working that semi truck.

790

:

The guy in the passenger seat can't get out because the door is lodged against the

concrete, but he's, you see his AR hanging out of the window as he's scanning.

791

:

He'll also do a search.

792

:

Okay.

793

:

And this car up here, the car that flipped over the median and caught on fire starts to

tick a little more.

794

:

And then there's a small little pop and a small explosion.

795

:

And it flips and falls into part of the hole in the concrete left by the other bomb and is

still continuing to burn.

796

:

in the car that was burning on the other side.

797

:

You see them frantically trying to get out still, but they cannot get the door open as

they are cooking in there like some Thanksgiving turkeys.

798

:

Damn.

799

:

All right, we are over to you, Agent Dave.

800

:

You see this sniper still looking down.

801

:

He has quite a bit of cover.

802

:

What are you doing?

803

:

So.

804

:

doing?

805

:

That's a good question.

806

:

So he still doesn't have a beat on me.

807

:

he seems to be looking in your area.

808

:

It's hard to tell if he knows exactly where you are, but the few shots that you've taken,

he's starting to get the beat on you.

809

:

I think that I would like to finally move from-

810

:

So I'm wondering if I could like slowly, you know, climb on down kind of to like where the

corner of this car is where the machine gun was.

811

:

Yeah, like right around there.

812

:

So you have five meters, or sorry, I think it's four.

813

:

So you can get to about there.

814

:

Yeah.

815

:

So from there, how far is that from where he is?

816

:

So you could get here and then see over the median to him.

817

:

The truck would be kind of blocking your view a little bit from that vantage point though.

818

:

So it'd be tough.

819

:

You would have cover from him though.

820

:

That's yeah, perfect.

821

:

And how far away am I from him right now?

822

:

You're about 15 meters.

823

:

Okay, cool.

824

:

You have cover All right.

825

:

Agent Burbridge, what's going on?

826

:

All right, Agent Burbridge is going to, can he see the guy under the truck now who's

scanning with the rifle?

827

:

You can, but it's gonna be pretty hard to hit him.

828

:

So you're gonna do it at a negative 40.

829

:

Okay, what about...

830

:

Can he make a cold shot on the tires of the car behind the semi?

831

:

Absolutely.

832

:

So you would hold the shot and then your next turn you would add.

833

:

20 % to it.

834

:

Okay, he's gonna do that to try and pop the two back tires.

835

:

Incredible.

836

:

All right.

837

:

We're over to Agent Kakusa.

838

:

What you up to?

839

:

I'm thinking about and I'm potentially regretting the fact that I created a barricade at

the end of this block here.

840

:

I'm thinking about finding a way to run up to the semi using either the median or is there

any like

841

:

pedestrian access or like service access on the side of this bridge or is it just like

wall?

842

:

Air like is there no way to walk across this bridge besides?

843

:

This the road itself

844

:

the road itself, you could crawl on the median and walk on it, or you could jump over to

the opposite side for cover.

845

:

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

846

:

tall is the median?

847

:

It is about chest height.

848

:

So you could crouch and walk along it for full

849

:

I'm thinking of crouching and walking behind the median and trying to make my way up

towards the semi.

850

:

Okay, great.

851

:

So you can get a few meters in.

852

:

out there.

853

:

How's that?

854

:

That looks good.

855

:

Okay, you're crouched, you have full cover.

856

:

All right.

857

:

Okay.

858

:

Sam, when you're, are you still out at the top of the SUV?

859

:

Yeah, I haven't said I wasn't so.

860

:

He's kind of like hunkering a bit to level, but he's not not out the top.

861

:

OK, so you have some cover, but not a lot.

862

:

We'll do a minus 10 for the shot.

863

:

Doesn't matter, he rolled a six and this sniper fires at you again.

864

:

How many hit points do you have left?

865

:

10.

866

:

Okay, yeah, he does six damage to you.

867

:

Didn't roll under the lethality score, but hits you for another six.

868

:

How many you've lost what?

869

:

start at 13 so...

870

:

Okay, yeah.

871

:

So the second shot hits you.

872

:

You fall down in the car.

873

:

You are incapacitated.

874

:

You can still fire your weapon and do things from that location, but you feel a lot of

blood leaving you and you're starting to feel really weak.

875

:

And from inside the car, you could do some stuff, but...

876

:

it's getting pretty rough around the edges for you.

877

:

All right, our truck driver is gonna continue.

878

:

Not gonna do it, all right.

879

:

This semi truck is just, you just hear trying to turn over.

880

:

That's good.

881

:

and you see somebody climb up on top of the semi truck and is looking for targets.

882

:

And.

883

:

There's some warning shots being fired up in the hills where you once were Dave.

884

:

From the semi truck passenger side, you hear them pop, pop, pop, pop and hit the rocks

behind you.

885

:

Seems like they know your old location now, but you have since moved.

886

:

All right, marksman Dave, it is your turn.

887

:

I'm going to lob a grenade towards where this guy was looking for me, hopefully getting it

under the car to maybe do a little splash damage or something like that.

888

:

All right.

889

:

Rolling athletics, is that what it is?

890

:

Damn it.

891

:

71.

892

:

Okay, yeah, it comes up short, blows up, but you see the guy under the car have to flinch

and maybe is interrupted for a little bit.

893

:

All right, over to you, Sam.

894

:

What are you doing?

895

:

And you guys, you can talk, you guys have radios, so I wanna tell them you're beat up, so.

896

:

Yeah, I have, I was gonna ask you question.

897

:

So I have field dressing in my inventory.

898

:

Does that constitute a medicine check?

899

:

Yeah, you can try to staunch some of your bleeding.

900

:

Yeah, because I don't have medicine at all.

901

:

I'm zero, I think.

902

:

yeah, same.

903

:

I didn't even think of that.

904

:

Yeah, me too.

905

:

Yeah, go ahead and roll your power and let's see if you can do it.

906

:

Alright, so Yeah, and Berbridge is gonna like cough out a um, hit as he's in the Backseat

now trying to fix himself up 61

907

:

All right, you were looking for what?

908

:

50, there Okay, so you're starting to stabilize it.

909

:

The second shot was especially harmful in your arm and you're wrapping it up and you have

a makeshift tourniquet on it and you've pushed through the pain and are able to do it to

910

:

yourself.

911

:

Over to you, Agent Kakusa.

912

:

I'm assuming that since my grenade on my sheet does not have anything in the ammo section,

the fact that I've thrown one means that I no longer have a grenade, right?

913

:

You had one grenade, yeah.

914

:

that's a really I picked like the most roundabout way of saying that possible.

915

:

But I think I'm gonna continue running behind the median towards the towards the semi.

916

:

Is there any way I can maybe take a pot shot at the guy standing on top of the truck or?

917

:

to maintain coverage.

918

:

Can I not see him right now?

919

:

Yeah, you would have to pop up to do it.

920

:

You can do that.

921

:

You'll just be out of cover when their turn starts.

922

:

What do you want to do?

923

:

I think I'm gonna I think I'm gonna take the risk and give it a shot.

924

:

I'm gonna take a pot shot at that guy.

925

:

I I know that yeah now that I know that uh, that burbridge is hurt.

926

:

I want to make sure he can't get at him or get fancy dave while he's moving so That's a 20

927

:

All right, you're crouched down low and you pop up and pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, a small

burst straight up at him and go ahead and roll that lethality.

928

:

87.

929

:

All right.

930

:

see, roll something.

931

:

Okay, yeah, your shot hits him square in the stomach, a gut shot, and he hunches over and

starts coughing.

932

:

His fingers still on the trigger of his gun, but he's hunched over, bleeding out of his

stomach now.

933

:

you're inside the car.

934

:

This sniper is going to aim and wait for anything to come out, hold his action.

935

:

And this turn is pretty quiet for now.

936

:

The guy on top of the semi is composing himself, has to make a power roll.

937

:

And we're over to you Dave.

938

:

still kind of in cover from this guy, right?

939

:

Do I have a queer shot at any of these too?

940

:

The guy on the truck, you could try to, but the angle, since you're on lower ground, is a

little off.

941

:

You would have to do it at another minus 20 like Matt just did.

942

:

Yeah.

943

:

Fuck it.

944

:

Why not?

945

:

Let's do it.

946

:

Wouldn't have mattered, 75.

947

:

All right, yeah, you fire and miss.

948

:

Over to you, Agent Burbridge.

949

:

All right, haven't took care of that.

950

:

He is going to very slightly roll down the window and he is just going to stick the tip of

the light machine gun out and the, the, I guess the intent here is to just provide

951

:

suppressing fire and not, not look through aim at all.

952

:

In fact, he's probably like pressed up against

953

:

the back of the seat so that his body doesn't come out of the thing and he's just gonna

lay on it.

954

:

you're gritting through the pain.

955

:

You feel like the darkness starts to...

956

:

invade you as you start to lose consciousness and then come back.

957

:

And in fact, the screeching and screaming of metal tearing out of your machine gun is the

only thing that can keep you awake right now.

958

:

It's like a hellish lullaby that's pulling you back to reality.

959

:

And you open up, go ahead and still roll me firearms.

960

:

And if you crit, then you might hit.

961

:

Nah, just 23.

962

:

you're just tearing everything up.

963

:

see the side of the truck.

964

:

Well, you don't see anything, but the other agents, you see the side of the truck being

torn up by bullet holes, the car in front of it, the glass is starting to break as he has

965

:

just been laying on the fire.

966

:

We are over to you, Agent Kakutza.

967

:

Um, a little more of the same.

968

:

gonna keep heading towards the,

969

:

the truck and I'm going to the tractor trailer I should say and I'm gonna pop out one more

time and see because the The car that's behind the tractor trailer that's got guys

970

:

underneath it right?

971

:

I can't see those guys

972

:

Yeah, the one guy's underneath it and then this guy's on top.

973

:

yeah, I'm gonna pop up one more time and I'm gonna see if I can take out the guy that I

already shot.

974

:

Roll it, you're close enough so you don't have to take that range deficit.

975

:

So a regular firearms roll now?

976

:

Nice.

977

:

Of course I fail.

978

:

That's a 92.

979

:

Just brrrr, little suppressing fire among the machine gun suppressing fire happening.

980

:

And it is his turn.

981

:

He is going to take a shot at you minus 40.

982

:

and he misses and it hits the cover right in front of you.

983

:

Probably would have hit you if you weren't behind some cover.

984

:

And our driver is going to try again.

985

:

my God, critical failure.

986

:

You hear him.

987

:

turn the engine and you just hear the sound of a rod being thrown in the engine.

988

:

You know what an engine sounds like and he has ground this thing to hell and this thing is

not gonna get started.

989

:

He probably is gonna give up, it's your guess, but.

990

:

This truck is fully incapacitated now.

991

:

Well, that makes my job a lot harder.

992

:

Yeah.

993

:

The passenger of the truck shoots some more fire towards you, Dave, and he can't see you,

but he's shooting in your direction.

994

:

Nothing hits, but he's doing some suppressing fire to try to keep you there.

995

:

And we are over to you, Agent Dave.

996

:

What are you doing?

997

:

throw my last grenade as well.

998

:

See how that goes.

999

:

Kind of the same.

:

01:05:56,065 --> 01:05:56,966

Yeah.

:

01:05:57,488 --> 01:05:58,380

Yeah.

:

01:05:58,380 --> 01:06:00,051

Fucking snipers, I hate them.

:

01:06:00,051 --> 01:06:00,524

Yeah.

:

01:06:00,524 --> 01:06:01,321

athletics.

:

01:06:01,321 --> 01:06:02,637

Ooh, an eight.

:

01:06:02,637 --> 01:06:03,809

All right.

:

01:06:04,505 --> 01:06:06,701

Yeah, go ahead and roll that lethality.

:

01:06:06,701 --> 01:06:08,707

under 15 you're looking for.

:

01:06:09,546 --> 01:06:12,124

I'm just rolling the, I'm rolling both of them again, right?

:

01:06:12,965 --> 01:06:16,617

Yeah, just both of them and then under 15%.

:

01:06:17,260 --> 01:06:18,447

77 isn't gonna do it.

:

01:06:18,447 --> 01:06:21,149

Nope, yeah, there's no crit fails on lethality.

:

01:06:21,149 --> 01:06:27,071

So seven plus seven though is enough damage to kill this guy.

:

01:06:27,852 --> 01:06:32,001

The grenade rolls in front of him as he's looking through a scope.

:

01:06:32,001 --> 01:06:43,129

His other eye is still closed, but he opens it for a brief second to see the grenade

laying in front of him, wobbling back and forth, and then just explodes and he is done.

:

01:06:43,129 --> 01:06:48,225

This car, the back rear end of it lifts up and it spins a little bit.

:

01:06:48,225 --> 01:06:55,931

and lands there, there's no fire or anything quite yet that you can see from where you

are, Agent Gagoots.

:

01:06:56,632 --> 01:06:59,073

But that guy is done.

:

01:07:00,486 --> 01:07:04,539

All right, we're going over to you, Agent Burbridge, it is your turn.

:

01:07:04,539 --> 01:07:07,524

think Burbridge is just doing more of the same right now.

:

01:07:07,524 --> 01:07:09,967

He's just trying to keep him down.

:

01:07:10,231 --> 01:07:16,993

Yeah, you have about two more turns of this before you're out of ammo, but go ahead, roll

me the firearms.

:

01:07:17,291 --> 01:07:18,584

I got an eight.

:

01:07:18,768 --> 01:07:22,468

Oh, dang, it's pretty low, but yeah, we'll, let me see.

:

01:07:22,468 --> 01:07:23,361

We'll get to that.

:

01:07:23,361 --> 01:07:28,707

All right, Agent Cacusa Gagoots, it is your turn.

:

01:07:29,233 --> 01:07:36,440

Um, do I have enough, movement to, run over and jump on top of this car that just, uh, had

a grenade?

:

01:07:36,440 --> 01:07:38,261

let, you know, move it.

:

01:07:38,261 --> 01:07:48,039

What I'm thinking is now that I can't get inside this truck anymore, or now that I can't

get this truck started, I should say, I'm thinking about taking out this guy on top of the

:

01:07:48,039 --> 01:07:49,009

truck.

:

01:07:49,181 --> 01:07:57,248

but since if I can get close enough, what I'd like to maybe do is trip him and get him to

fall off the top of the truck.

:

01:07:58,089 --> 01:08:00,051

You can't quite get there.

:

01:08:00,052 --> 01:08:01,875

So you can set it up though.

:

01:08:01,875 --> 01:08:07,864

You could get here and be ready to grapple up hiding under the car if you wanted to.

:

01:08:08,010 --> 01:08:09,955

Okay, yeah, I'll do that then.

:

01:08:10,808 --> 01:08:13,126

Okay, you have full cover, you're behind the car.

:

01:08:13,126 --> 01:08:31,019

And then it is their turn, the driver of the truck probably feeling ashamed of his crappy

engine work, opens the door, leans out and just fires down the way and is trying to avoid

:

01:08:31,019 --> 01:08:33,782

the machine gun fire that's peppering the side of it.

:

01:08:33,782 --> 01:08:37,176

And then the passenger also fires towards you, Dave.

:

01:08:37,176 --> 01:08:41,914

still hitting nothing, just rocks and sand flying up above you.

:

01:08:41,914 --> 01:08:43,998

And we're back over to you Marksman Dave.

:

01:08:43,998 --> 01:08:46,838

Uh, do I have a bead on the passenger?

:

01:08:46,838 --> 01:08:47,594

No, right?

:

01:08:47,594 --> 01:08:48,175

Probably?

:

01:08:48,175 --> 01:08:59,221

Yeah, I think I'll probably reposition so I can get a better angle on the passenger and

that'll just be my turn.

:

01:09:00,013 --> 01:09:04,802

Yeah, so you do that and you can aim, getting ready to take the shot at him.

:

01:09:04,802 --> 01:09:07,621

All right, more suppressing fire.

:

01:09:07,621 --> 01:09:22,743

Now this time Burbank is going to lay off and he's gonna roll up the windshield, kind of

like try to maneuver his way into the driver's seat, close the door, and then he is with

:

01:09:22,743 --> 01:09:31,082

no small, like with no quickness, he is going to try to kind of like unjackknife this and

drive it further up.

:

01:09:31,082 --> 01:09:32,026

Hell yeah.

:

01:09:32,075 --> 01:09:39,334

Yeah, so roll a willpower again or a power just to see if you can push through the pain to

do this.

:

01:09:39,334 --> 01:09:40,514

It does not look like it.

:

01:09:40,514 --> 01:09:41,848

I got an 87.

:

01:09:41,848 --> 01:09:44,431

Okay, it's too excruciating.

:

01:09:44,431 --> 01:09:46,483

You position yourself in the driver's seat.

:

01:09:46,483 --> 01:09:48,026

There's a lot of blood, man.

:

01:09:48,026 --> 01:09:52,071

It's starting to make you nauseous and you're starting to black out here and there.

:

01:09:52,071 --> 01:10:01,253

You can get the car on, but to grab that wheel, you just kind of slump over on top of it

and are close to actually taking a nap on it, but you're still awake.

:

01:10:01,253 --> 01:10:04,239

All right, Agent Cacusa, what are you doing?

:

01:10:04,239 --> 01:10:11,979

I am going to jump up on top of this car that has been displaced slightly by the grenade.

:

01:10:12,879 --> 01:10:30,599

If I can, I don't know which is more in my wheelhouse, but I'd like to either grab this

dude by the ankle and like yeet him off the top of the truck or take my combat knife and

:

01:10:30,599 --> 01:10:32,190

like take out his Achilles.

:

01:10:32,190 --> 01:10:41,476

Damn, yeah, so the unarmed will be to throw him off and then melee will be to stab him.

:

01:10:41,476 --> 01:10:44,458

As far as you know, what would you be more comfortable with?

:

01:10:44,458 --> 01:10:49,828

I think I'm slightly better at unarmed, so I think I'm just gonna try to yank him off the

top of the truck.

:

01:10:50,632 --> 01:10:57,963

Yeah, you get up there and you dive from this car to the tractor trailer at his legs.

:

01:10:57,963 --> 01:10:58,856

Go ahead and roll it.

:

01:10:58,856 --> 01:11:03,236

All right, 23, that's a go.

:

01:11:03,989 --> 01:11:16,169

Yeah, there's nothing to grab onto, because it's a square back of a truck other than his

legs, and you get your arms around both of them and just yank and he falls off the side.

:

01:11:17,029 --> 01:11:21,869

Let me roll him some luck and then some dodge.

:

01:11:21,869 --> 01:11:23,409

Oh God, 99.

:

01:11:23,409 --> 01:11:24,349

All right.

:

01:11:24,349 --> 01:11:25,260

Well, that's a fail.

:

01:11:25,260 --> 01:11:30,026

Yeah, somehow the angle you pull him makes him fall.

:

01:11:30,026 --> 01:11:41,640

over and maybe it's the stomach shot that he got from you earlier, but he crumples and

then goes head first and you see his neck snap as it hits the concrete on the ground.

:

01:11:41,640 --> 01:11:47,024

You fall down on your ass though and let's see, take a D4 damage.

:

01:11:47,024 --> 01:11:51,357

You take one damage from falling off of the truck and on your butt.

:

01:11:51,357 --> 01:11:56,398

All right, Dave, this guy in the driver's seat has a bead on you.

:

01:11:56,398 --> 01:11:57,551

He's gonna take a shot.

:

01:11:57,551 --> 01:11:58,780

and he hits.

:

01:11:58,780 --> 01:11:59,452

What's your armor?

:

01:11:59,452 --> 01:12:00,254

Is it five?

:

01:12:00,254 --> 01:12:00,876

Let me see.

:

01:12:00,876 --> 01:12:03,716

five and then Kevlar helmet plus one, so six.

:

01:12:03,716 --> 01:12:04,356

yeah.

:

01:12:04,356 --> 01:12:17,676

So he does three damage to you as this bullet comes screaming out, it hits you in the

thigh, it kind of grazes you, but there's some flesh that it took with it and you have a

:

01:12:17,676 --> 01:12:18,816

little bit of a hobble now.

:

01:12:18,816 --> 01:12:26,171

Your movement speed will be minus 50%, but it is your turn.

:

01:12:26,171 --> 01:12:27,791

Do I...

:

01:12:27,791 --> 01:12:30,611

Can I see this guy who shot me?

:

01:12:30,611 --> 01:12:37,020

Oh yeah, okay, well I'm just gonna fire one right back at him.

:

01:12:37,020 --> 01:12:37,814

let's see it.

:

01:12:37,814 --> 01:12:38,531

40.

:

01:12:38,531 --> 01:12:42,522

All right, your bullet goes in, go ahead and roll that lethality.

:

01:12:42,522 --> 01:12:43,472

That sucks.

:

01:12:43,472 --> 01:12:44,642

19.

:

01:12:44,789 --> 01:12:46,129

Right above it.

:

01:12:46,129 --> 01:12:58,128

Okay, but you double nine so you Still kill him go ahead and do you want to narrate this

shot or do you want me to?

:

01:12:58,128 --> 01:13:04,104

Uh, I'm just gonna say that like, okay, what kind of weapon was he using to shoot me with?

:

01:13:04,104 --> 01:13:06,550

It's just a M4 AR.

:

01:13:06,550 --> 01:13:09,466

So it's like your gun, but without a scope.

:

01:13:10,383 --> 01:13:11,283

okay.

:

01:13:11,324 --> 01:13:12,684

Without a scope.

:

01:13:12,684 --> 01:13:15,385

Man, I am pissed.

:

01:13:15,586 --> 01:13:17,486

I am real pissed that I took that shot.

:

01:13:17,486 --> 01:13:30,012

And I'm just gonna like, as I get blasted in the leg, I'm gonna like get down on one knee

and then like kind of steady myself and shoot right above where I saw that muzzle flash of

:

01:13:30,012 --> 01:13:34,924

him and blast through his iron sights right into his like thyroid

:

01:13:34,924 --> 01:13:35,643

yeah, yeah.

:

01:13:35,643 --> 01:13:42,449

It's just like, it's like a mess of gurgling and death coming out of the cab of the truck.

:

01:13:42,449 --> 01:13:52,387

Luckily the truck is already dead because the blood that splattered on the windshield from

the inside would have made it real hard to see, but he is done.

:

01:13:52,387 --> 01:13:57,881

All right, your turn, Agent Burbridge.

:

01:13:57,881 --> 01:14:03,523

Yeah, Burbridge is gonna try to right this vehicle and get moving.

:

01:14:03,580 --> 01:14:05,349

All right, give me that willpower.

:

01:14:05,349 --> 01:14:06,103

Let's see it.

:

01:14:06,103 --> 01:14:07,049

Ten.

:

01:14:07,264 --> 01:14:13,129

All right, you are able to use this turn to get it around and steady yourself.

:

01:14:13,129 --> 01:14:21,275

You think you could probably drive it now that it's turned around and creep forward a

little bit, but not a lot of movement quite yet.

:

01:14:21,731 --> 01:14:26,973

Yeah, he'll like kind of peek out of the driver's side and you want to ride Dave?

:

01:14:26,973 --> 01:14:27,388

Yeah.

:

01:14:27,388 --> 01:14:28,887

Hell yeah, brother.

:

01:14:28,940 --> 01:14:31,366

I'm gonna see the car moving and I'm like, hey!

:

01:14:31,388 --> 01:14:32,149

It's my job.

:

01:14:32,149 --> 01:14:36,271

Yeah, we are over to you, Agent Kakuza.

:

01:14:36,433 --> 01:14:41,438

you notice some footsteps coming from the side of the semi truck you can't quite see.

:

01:14:41,438 --> 01:14:50,170

I think I'm going to crawl underneath the truck and see if I can see where those footsteps

are coming from.

:

01:14:51,393 --> 01:14:56,010

Yeah, you lay down and you see legs on the other side of the semi truck.

:

01:14:56,010 --> 01:15:06,579

Alright, I think this is going to be what I was gonna try and do before and I think I'm

gonna try to take out this dude's Achilles while I'm underneath the truck.

:

01:15:07,585 --> 01:15:16,915

Yeah, yeah, you're army crawling like you're in Vietnam through a rice paddy under this

semi truck and his foot is right there.

:

01:15:17,196 --> 01:15:17,968

Go ahead.

:

01:15:17,968 --> 01:15:20,425

And that's a melee, you said?

:

01:15:21,194 --> 01:15:23,240

melee and he has a chance to dodge too.

:

01:15:23,240 --> 01:15:24,306

Ooh, that's a fail.

:

01:15:24,306 --> 01:15:25,201

That's 42.

:

01:15:25,201 --> 01:15:25,542

Okay.

:

01:15:25,542 --> 01:15:27,342

Yeah, he failed his dodge too.

:

01:15:27,342 --> 01:15:36,547

So you flip out, you hit his ankle and he looks down at you, but wasn't able to dodge the

hit, but isn't damaged by the blade.

:

01:15:36,547 --> 01:15:38,167

It is his turn.

:

01:15:39,138 --> 01:15:41,201

yeah, he aims his gun down.

:

01:15:41,201 --> 01:15:44,114

fires, you feel a sting in your back.

:

01:15:44,114 --> 01:15:45,380

How much armor do you have?

:

01:15:45,380 --> 01:15:53,434

uh It says my tactical is 5 and I have a plus 1 with a kevlar helmet so I 6

:

01:15:54,224 --> 01:15:59,805

So you take six damage from this bullet that hits you almost point blank in the back.

:

01:15:59,805 --> 01:16:02,310

Luckily you have your vest on.

:

01:16:02,310 --> 01:16:03,944

The wind has knocked out of you.

:

01:16:03,944 --> 01:16:07,250

Agent Dave, you hear that sound.

:

01:16:07,250 --> 01:16:10,645

Anything you're screaming over, comms or anything as you get hit.

:

01:16:10,645 --> 01:16:11,110

Ouch.

:

01:16:11,110 --> 01:16:13,071

Fuck that was a stupid idea.

:

01:16:13,892 --> 01:16:15,393

Agent David is your turn.

:

01:16:15,393 --> 01:16:18,044

Yeah, can I just scan to see you, you know.

:

01:16:18,044 --> 01:16:19,186

You can't see anything.

:

01:16:19,186 --> 01:16:30,045

I'm gonna make my way I guess closer because I like I'm gonna I guess I'm just gonna try

to move closer to the road where can see now because I think most of the guys I was trying

:

01:16:30,045 --> 01:16:42,405

to kill are dead so yeah so like I'd like to get uh you know I'd like to try to get closer

to the group so I can back them up with my rifle

:

01:16:42,700 --> 01:16:47,367

All right, so just running towards where the car is maybe, like right here.

:

01:16:47,367 --> 01:16:48,174

yeah, probably.

:

01:16:48,174 --> 01:16:49,763

That's probably us.

:

01:16:50,702 --> 01:16:54,065

you're able to hop off in the median and start looking around.

:

01:16:54,065 --> 01:16:58,907

There's a lot going on with that car up there and a scorch mark from a grenade.

:

01:16:58,907 --> 01:17:02,050

So you can't quite see what the ouch was about.

:

01:17:02,990 --> 01:17:06,884

All right, Agent Burbridge, what are you doing?

:

01:17:06,884 --> 01:17:10,299

Does it actually look like the ancient Dave's getting in the car or?

:

01:17:10,299 --> 01:17:17,560

Because if not, we're just gonna keep trying to move forward towards that semi.

:

01:17:18,147 --> 01:17:18,656

I mean.

:

01:17:18,656 --> 01:17:24,625

I would say if you want, just go ahead and I'll like, walk behind, I'll try to stay behind

you or whatever as cover.

:

01:17:24,625 --> 01:17:26,998

Totally fine.

:

01:17:27,507 --> 01:17:32,402

Okay, now you're gonna roll your drive at minus 20.

:

01:17:32,402 --> 01:17:35,656

My percentage is 30 so I need a 10 so 20.

:

01:17:35,738 --> 01:17:38,420

Yeah, okay.

:

01:17:38,420 --> 01:17:40,260

You're able to get up there.

:

01:17:40,260 --> 01:17:45,743

You start nodding off and you slam into this car behind everything.

:

01:17:45,743 --> 01:17:47,484

We'll say you're under this truck now.

:

01:17:47,484 --> 01:17:49,781

The car moves forward, hits the truck.

:

01:17:49,781 --> 01:17:51,817

Can you roll your luck, agent?

:

01:17:51,817 --> 01:17:52,554

42.

:

01:17:52,554 --> 01:18:05,567

Okay, the semi truck careens a little bit and just enough hits this guy and knocks him

unstable right in front of you as it looks like he's about to take another shot.

:

01:18:05,567 --> 01:18:12,573

He stumbles over towards the median, buying you a precious second of time.

:

01:18:12,573 --> 01:18:13,469

What are you doing?

:

01:18:13,469 --> 01:18:24,765

Alright, instead of trying to immediately get vengeance on this guy, I realized that I am

in an extremely dangerous situation and I'm gonna roll back out on the south side of the

:

01:18:24,765 --> 01:18:28,611

truck and I'm gonna try to get some cover.

:

01:18:28,611 --> 01:18:31,983

From here I can't see that guy anymore, right?

:

01:18:31,983 --> 01:18:34,762

you'd be able to see his legs if you rolled out.

:

01:18:34,846 --> 01:18:42,896

Okay, I think I'm going to abandon trying to take him out though and I think I'm going to

run towards the cab of the truck.

:

01:18:44,033 --> 01:18:48,014

rolling out is gonna be your turn and that's all you're gonna be able to do.

:

01:18:48,094 --> 01:18:51,596

yeah, yeah.

:

01:18:51,596 --> 01:18:53,966

This guy, it is his turn.

:

01:18:53,966 --> 01:19:04,843

He peeks under the truck and fires some spray at negative 30 because you're covered behind

the tire and does not hit, but you know that he is trying to kill you.

:

01:19:04,843 --> 01:19:06,004

We are over to you, Dave.

:

01:19:06,004 --> 01:19:06,815

What are you doing?

:

01:19:06,815 --> 01:19:14,790

I am looking down my scope to see if I can, I guess, pick up any enemies from where I'm

at.

:

01:19:15,559 --> 01:19:19,728

Yeah, go ahead and rule your military science land, which I think is around 40.

:

01:19:19,728 --> 01:19:20,141

Yeah.

:

01:19:20,141 --> 01:19:21,223

70.

:

01:19:21,223 --> 01:19:23,096

you don't see anything through the scope.

:

01:19:23,096 --> 01:19:27,382

High ground would be nice probably, but you don't, you you just came out of the rocks.

:

01:19:27,382 --> 01:19:30,737

There's the medians that you could probably run to right now.

:

01:19:30,737 --> 01:19:42,520

I think I might try to stay low and like I want to I think get up into this truck that's

like right in front of me so I'm try to make my way that way

:

01:19:42,520 --> 01:19:44,157

you're able to hop into the back.

:

01:19:44,157 --> 01:19:46,223

How's that machine gun looking?

:

01:19:47,177 --> 01:19:48,559

It's looking ready to use.

:

01:19:48,559 --> 01:19:52,664

All right, over to agent Burbridge.

:

01:19:52,664 --> 01:19:53,556

What are you doing?

:

01:19:53,556 --> 01:19:58,037

I'm sure Agent Burbridge heard the shots from the pistol, right?

:

01:19:58,207 --> 01:19:59,012

Yeah.

:

01:19:59,966 --> 01:20:16,852

He is kind of a jolt awake after hitting the other car and he's going to unroll the window

a little bit and like stick the muzzle kind of in the crack between the front of the You

:

01:20:16,852 --> 01:20:28,120

know the front and the the window itself, and he's just gonna aim right around The back of

the truck to try and just catch him if he comes around that corner

:

01:20:28,120 --> 01:20:34,931

So he's basically holding an action to shoot whatever this guy is going to come from over

here on the left.

:

01:20:35,404 --> 01:20:36,507

Incredible.

:

01:20:36,507 --> 01:20:38,533

Yeah.

:

01:20:38,533 --> 01:20:42,268

Now it is your turn, Agent Cacusa.

:

01:20:42,268 --> 01:20:48,053

Alright, I'm gonna run towards the cab of the tractor trailer.

:

01:20:48,053 --> 01:20:50,855

There's a dead guy in the passenger seat, right?

:

01:20:50,855 --> 01:21:01,536

I think what I would like to do is open the door and kind of using the dead guy as a human

shield trying to take out the driver with my gun.

:

01:21:01,536 --> 01:21:04,879

Yeah, you get in, you open the cab.

:

01:21:04,879 --> 01:21:08,622

It is covered in red blood from Dave Schott.

:

01:21:08,622 --> 01:21:14,867

And the driver is actually the one who exited the other side and was looking for you on

the other side of the truck.

:

01:21:14,867 --> 01:21:15,311

So it

:

01:21:15,311 --> 01:21:15,742

All right.

:

01:21:15,742 --> 01:21:19,896

So I'm going to, uh in that case, I'm going to jump.

:

01:21:19,896 --> 01:21:33,801

If I still have enough movement, I'm going to try to sneak into the driver's side seat and

maybe see if I can just peek out from the window and get a better aim on this guy and

:

01:21:33,801 --> 01:21:34,832

shoot at him.

:

01:21:35,845 --> 01:21:41,072

Yeah, you can see in the mirror that he is looking up towards the cab.

:

01:21:41,072 --> 01:21:44,005

He had seen your feet run off.

:

01:21:44,005 --> 01:21:45,607

So he's looking up.

:

01:21:45,607 --> 01:21:48,354

You are not able to take the shot on this turn though.

:

01:21:48,501 --> 01:21:48,980

And he...

:

01:21:48,980 --> 01:21:49,585

oh

:

01:21:49,585 --> 01:21:57,005

steps out and tries to fire on the cab at minus 40, rolled a 67.

:

01:21:57,005 --> 01:21:58,725

So he fails.

:

01:21:58,845 --> 01:21:59,825

Some bullets start to hit.

:

01:21:59,825 --> 01:22:01,245

In fact, the mirror explodes.

:

01:22:01,245 --> 01:22:06,365

You no longer have that as a point of vision, but we are over to you, Dave.

:

01:22:06,365 --> 01:22:07,016

What are you doing?

:

01:22:07,016 --> 01:22:09,796

Do I have a bead on him with this machine gun?

:

01:22:09,796 --> 01:22:10,376

No?

:

01:22:10,376 --> 01:22:11,476

Okay.

:

01:22:11,595 --> 01:22:14,226

Yeah, behind the semi trucks, you can't see him.

:

01:22:14,640 --> 01:22:15,748

No, I can't see him.

:

01:22:15,748 --> 01:22:17,072

Um, okay.

:

01:22:17,187 --> 01:22:18,083

shoot through the truck.

:

01:22:18,083 --> 01:22:19,669

Probably not the best idea.

:

01:22:19,669 --> 01:22:20,151

in there.

:

01:22:20,151 --> 01:22:29,647

I think I am going to set up the machine gun now and get it ready to fire if I see

anything that needs to be fired upon.

:

01:22:29,647 --> 01:22:32,959

I imagine it's going to take some time to get it ready.

:

01:22:33,136 --> 01:22:40,643

Yeah, you can get it onto the roof of the truck and loaded and ready and you are holding

it waiting.

:

01:22:40,643 --> 01:22:52,432

Here in shots and seeing no one, he is going to crack the window more and he is going to

try to like roll the grenade under the vehicles.

:

01:22:52,432 --> 01:22:58,383

Like kind of underhand toss it underneath the car and the truck to get over to that guy.

:

01:22:58,383 --> 01:22:59,024

Okay.

:

01:22:59,024 --> 01:22:59,415

Yeah.

:

01:22:59,415 --> 01:23:05,066

So go ahead and roll that athletics minus 20 with your level of injuries.

:

01:23:05,066 --> 01:23:06,746

29.

:

01:23:07,442 --> 01:23:10,202

and what's the target?

:

01:23:10,335 --> 01:23:15,637

Let's see I've got 40 so it was it needed to be 20

:

01:23:15,637 --> 01:23:30,894

right, you roll it and it goes under the car and explodes and the semi truck doesn't shift

much, but the back of it, the doors blow open and start to open a little bit and our jar

:

01:23:30,894 --> 01:23:37,292

and the guy who is on the other side of it falls on his ass and from the concussion.

:

01:23:37,292 --> 01:23:38,212

Thanks.

:

01:23:38,413 --> 01:23:40,725

Alright, Agent Gagoots.

:

01:23:40,767 --> 01:23:50,367

Alright, I'm gonna hear the explosion and I'm gonna see, cause I was trying to look out

the, I don't know if I had enough action in the previous turn to actually like look out

:

01:23:50,367 --> 01:23:50,868

the window.

:

01:23:50,868 --> 01:24:01,589

but I'm hoping to kick the door open and kind of like dive out the door of, the truck

while this dude is on his ass and taking a shot at him.

:

01:24:01,589 --> 01:24:12,770

Hell yeah, so John Woo, kick the door open, doves fly out of the truck somehow, and you

dive in slow motion with your submachine gun.

:

01:24:12,770 --> 01:24:14,101

Go ahead and roll it.

:

01:24:14,101 --> 01:24:14,542

one.

:

01:24:14,542 --> 01:24:15,590

What the f-

:

01:24:15,590 --> 01:24:16,722

uh

:

01:24:16,722 --> 01:24:28,513

Everyone, you can't see what's going on, but what you see, Agent Burbridge, is a peppering

of this guy, almost like the zipper shots, right?

:

01:24:28,513 --> 01:24:35,000

But the most interesting thing about it is the pink mist that appears where his head used

to be.

:

01:24:35,000 --> 01:24:39,019

Somehow you're some machine gun round, it's a hollow point, has...

:

01:24:39,019 --> 01:24:45,704

not just turned his head into a crater like Dave's other shot, but has completely

disappeared his face.

:

01:24:45,704 --> 01:24:58,951

And there's this impossible moment before he collapses down to the cement where it seems

like his body turns towards you just a little bit more and wobbles and then finally slaps

:

01:24:58,951 --> 01:25:01,766

the ground and he is done.

:

01:25:01,766 --> 01:25:02,307

Hell yeah.

:

01:25:02,307 --> 01:25:04,259

Alright, what's in this truck guys?

:

01:25:05,076 --> 01:25:08,387

yes, yes, the doors are hanging ajar.

:

01:25:08,387 --> 01:25:10,227

You are quite injured.

:

01:25:10,827 --> 01:25:12,518

Can everybody roll me an alertness?

:

01:25:12,518 --> 01:25:15,209

After this roll I have another question for you but...

:

01:25:15,209 --> 01:25:15,802

my god!

:

01:25:15,802 --> 01:25:17,178

I got a 30.

:

01:25:17,225 --> 01:25:18,343

Jeez, 72.

:

01:25:18,343 --> 01:25:21,748

I'm the least alert marksman I've ever met.

:

01:25:21,748 --> 01:25:23,308

I got another one.

:

01:25:23,961 --> 01:25:26,209

Hey, I believe you.

:

01:25:26,209 --> 01:25:27,151

are not weighted dice.

:

01:25:27,151 --> 01:25:30,060

I use these as a DM and I get my ass handed to me all day.

:

01:25:30,060 --> 01:25:32,262

Everyone else is a little rattled.

:

01:25:32,262 --> 01:25:36,735

You hear the sound of a helicopter in the distance.

:

01:25:36,735 --> 01:25:37,376

You just hear...

:

01:25:37,376 --> 01:25:37,998

far away.

:

01:25:37,998 --> 01:25:39,761

You don't have any backup coming.

:

01:25:39,761 --> 01:25:43,909

You're not sure where this is coming from, but you hear that.

:

01:25:43,909 --> 01:25:46,614

Dave, keep an eye out for the sky.

:

01:25:46,614 --> 01:25:48,207

I hear a helicopter coming.

:

01:25:48,207 --> 01:25:48,518

Sure.

:

01:25:48,518 --> 01:25:56,317

you know, prop my rifle, I guess, against the top of the, you know, truck and scan the

skies looking for the helicopter.

:

01:25:56,317 --> 01:25:56,989

All right.

:

01:25:56,989 --> 01:25:59,618

All right, you, what are you guys doing?

:

01:26:00,485 --> 01:26:01,559

Dave's on watch.

:

01:26:01,559 --> 01:26:04,937

Are we looking to blow this thing or take it?

:

01:26:04,937 --> 01:26:10,520

are we still in like, I don't know what the word for it is, like initiative or yeah, turn

order.

:

01:26:12,442 --> 01:26:12,942

All right.

:

01:26:12,942 --> 01:26:20,273

If I can, I, I realized that w what's the difference between medicine and first aid is the

question I was going to ask before.

:

01:26:20,273 --> 01:26:22,847

Yeah, first aid is gonna be patching yourself up.

:

01:26:22,847 --> 01:26:27,766

Medicine is using psycho-pharmacological pills for things.

:

01:26:27,766 --> 01:26:32,363

Like let's say you wanted to find something in a pharmacy, that's a stimulant.

:

01:26:32,363 --> 01:26:34,086

Like you would roll medicine to do that.

:

01:26:34,086 --> 01:26:34,659

Yeah.

:

01:26:34,659 --> 01:26:42,674

I can do that Burbridge hasn't already done to himself with my, with my field dressing

that will help improve his health.

:

01:26:42,674 --> 01:26:43,025

Right.

:

01:26:43,025 --> 01:26:43,506

Okay.

:

01:26:43,506 --> 01:26:43,946

All right.

:

01:26:43,946 --> 01:26:50,866

So in that case, I'm gonna continue to, Jack open this, the back of this truck.

:

01:26:50,866 --> 01:26:58,091

Yeah, you open it and the air is chilled as it hits you.

:

01:26:58,091 --> 01:27:05,339

You've been out in the hot desert sun on concrete and the walls are lined with makeshift,

almost like coffins.

:

01:27:05,339 --> 01:27:10,343

There's a smell of an antiseptic almost and

:

01:27:10,839 --> 01:27:14,621

almost a sense of ammonia to it as well.

:

01:27:14,621 --> 01:27:24,159

In the center of the trailer, you see how he hoisted with chains a strange box just

sitting there dangling.

:

01:27:24,159 --> 01:27:30,478

You see bullet holes around the sides of the trailer and they're in that...

:

01:27:30,478 --> 01:27:42,203

or on that box is the body of what looks to be like a scientist with a probably a machine

gun round embedded in his neck slumped over dead.

:

01:27:42,686 --> 01:27:44,013

Does this look self-inflicted?

:

01:27:44,013 --> 01:27:46,428

Probably not with how much machine gun fire it took.

:

01:27:46,428 --> 01:27:50,821

was just this in the hullabaloo this dude happened to get taken out.

:

01:27:51,725 --> 01:27:52,183

Yeah.

:

01:27:52,183 --> 01:28:04,153

Yeah, and before Gagooz goes in there, can Burbridge set the other, like, basically prime

a C4 for 60 seconds and, like, toss it to Gagooz?

:

01:28:04,173 --> 01:28:09,065

You know, just, like, kind of, like, hit the red button, you got 60 seconds, get out of

there.

:

01:28:09,657 --> 01:28:13,934

Yeah, I'm going to report back what I saw and I'm going to be like, guys, I don't like

this.

:

01:28:13,934 --> 01:28:19,522

Whatever this truck's incapacitated, whatever's going on in here, it's not fitting in our

truck.

:

01:28:19,522 --> 01:28:21,804

I say we blow it and get the fuck out of here.

:

01:28:22,668 --> 01:28:26,077

You could take the crate that the guy is sitting on dead.

:

01:28:26,077 --> 01:28:26,498

Okay.

:

01:28:26,498 --> 01:28:32,534

In that case, I think I will, is the timer already going down or is it like waiting for me

to be like, go?

:

01:28:32,534 --> 01:28:36,774

The intention was that you would be able to hit the timer and dip.

:

01:28:36,774 --> 01:28:45,824

All right, so I think I'm gonna attempt to take the crate and be like, whatever else this

is, doesn't look good.

:

01:28:45,824 --> 01:28:46,725

I'm gonna blow it.

:

01:28:46,725 --> 01:28:49,946

The crate can fit in the trunk and we can get the fuck out of here.

:

01:28:50,059 --> 01:28:54,086

Yeah, roll your athletics to unhook it from the chains.

:

01:28:54,086 --> 01:28:55,626

43.

:

01:28:55,646 --> 01:28:57,346

So that's a success.

:

01:28:58,165 --> 01:28:59,426

All right, you pull it down.

:

01:28:59,426 --> 01:29:03,996

It has, it's uncharacteristically heavy and it thumps to the ground.

:

01:29:03,996 --> 01:29:05,875

It feels like it has some weight to it.

:

01:29:05,875 --> 01:29:08,240

It is extremely cold when you touch it.

:

01:29:08,240 --> 01:29:14,855

Is it still something, even though it's heavy, is it still something I can pull out myself

or am gonna need a team lift on this one?

:

01:29:14,855 --> 01:29:17,080

Yeah, you're able to pull it out yourselves.

:

01:29:17,080 --> 01:29:20,103

Any business with the coffins?

:

01:29:20,103 --> 01:29:32,377

I think after I get the the crate out of the truck or at least out of the Mostly out of

the truck I'm gonna Set the charge like right between all the coffins and then I'm gonna

:

01:29:32,377 --> 01:29:34,358

I'm gonna pull the

:

01:29:34,490 --> 01:29:46,055

Pull the crate out while telling Burbridge to back the car up a little bit so I can get a

little bit away from the truck in case this thing explodes.

:

01:29:46,055 --> 01:29:47,766

I don't want us all to blow up.

:

01:29:47,787 --> 01:29:55,307

Can I be walking closer towards them while I'm scanning the skies?

:

01:29:55,489 --> 01:29:57,111

Yep, you're on Overwatch.

:

01:29:57,111 --> 01:30:04,688

And so you get the crate in the car, you throw the C4 in there, taking a peek or just

taking off?

:

01:30:04,688 --> 01:30:14,071

Honestly, once we got the box, I'm back in business mode and I'm like, you're taking

shotgun now, I'm getting back in the car, I'm driving.

:

01:30:14,071 --> 01:30:15,082

All right.

:

01:30:15,547 --> 01:30:17,281

Agent Burbridge, can you roll me luck?

:

01:30:17,281 --> 01:30:18,881

That's a 28.

:

01:30:19,056 --> 01:30:22,497

you maintain consciousness.

:

01:30:22,718 --> 01:30:23,919

This thing is in there.

:

01:30:23,919 --> 01:30:25,482

It feels cold.

:

01:30:25,482 --> 01:30:29,523

Whatever's in this case is emitting some of the cold.

:

01:30:29,523 --> 01:30:32,865

It's not just a refrigerated truck, although is that as well.

:

01:30:32,865 --> 01:30:37,747

And you feel that cool air in there augmenting the AC.

:

01:30:37,747 --> 01:30:39,359

You jump in into Agent Dave.

:

01:30:39,359 --> 01:30:39,757

Okay.

:

01:30:39,757 --> 01:30:42,797

All right, go ahead and roll your drive, see if you can get away from this helicopter.

:

01:30:42,797 --> 01:30:43,724

dirty.

:

01:30:43,764 --> 01:30:47,130

All right, you take off and are on the road again.

:

01:30:47,130 --> 01:30:54,860

Go ahead and give me a navigation check to see if you can find a route that the helicopter

probably wouldn't scan.

:

01:30:54,860 --> 01:30:55,751

64

:

01:30:55,751 --> 01:30:57,152

Under 70, right?

:

01:30:57,833 --> 01:30:58,733

Nice.

:

01:30:58,861 --> 01:30:59,782

Yeah.

:

01:30:59,822 --> 01:31:04,586

You have the map in your head basically and like are like, okay, I know exactly where to

go.

:

01:31:04,586 --> 01:31:08,390

There's this tunnel that goes through a mountain pass and we're going there.

:

01:31:08,390 --> 01:31:11,533

And as you're driving off the tilt hill.

:

01:31:11,711 --> 01:31:26,608

sound of C4 going off in the back of a semi-truck full of gasoline erupts from behind you

and you hear the groan of earth and metal straining as this bridge is struggling to stay

:

01:31:26,608 --> 01:31:34,632

up but eventually collapses behind you and you are off and into the sunset for now.

:

01:31:34,632 --> 01:31:37,345

What are you doing as you're driving back?

:

01:31:37,345 --> 01:31:38,926

I mean, I'm a little hurt.

:

01:31:38,926 --> 01:31:41,297

I'm just trying to like keep it together.

:

01:31:41,297 --> 01:31:45,857

I feel like this is the first time I've had a chance to breathe in the past couple hours.

:

01:31:45,857 --> 01:31:48,960

So I'm like, we got our own air conditioning.

:

01:31:48,960 --> 01:31:50,072

This is pretty nice.

:

01:31:50,072 --> 01:31:58,615

probably going to be out of the sun on the moon roof or whatever, still providing cover,

overwatch, whatever you want to call it for us.

:

01:31:58,615 --> 01:32:02,076

Yeah, yeah, go ahead and roll alertness from there.

:

01:32:02,076 --> 01:32:03,276

22.

:

01:32:03,295 --> 01:32:06,053

All right, alert as hell.

:

01:32:06,053 --> 01:32:08,959

And what are you doing, Agent Burbridge?

:

01:32:09,122 --> 01:32:09,876

Sleeping?

:

01:32:09,876 --> 01:32:12,358

Burbridge is just holding on.

:

01:32:12,358 --> 01:32:22,985

He's like pull the Snickers out of his like duffel bag, and he's just thousand yards

staring Snacking trying to stay like awake

:

01:32:23,659 --> 01:32:28,497

Yeah, any conversation to have between you professionals as you're getting out of here.

:

01:32:28,497 --> 01:32:29,101

Good job, boys.

:

01:32:29,101 --> 01:32:31,482

Maybe we could do it.

:

01:32:31,634 --> 01:32:34,378

Not the worst thought, definitely not the best.

:

01:32:34,425 --> 01:32:36,649

uh

:

01:32:38,265 --> 01:32:40,711

It's about a all-Berbridge can muster.

:

01:32:40,711 --> 01:32:48,446

Taking the asset directly back to the drop point or you're gonna take a peek there or just

get it in.

:

01:32:49,218 --> 01:32:51,275

We don't get paid to ask questions.

:

01:32:51,659 --> 01:32:52,990

I got to keep my eyes on the road.

:

01:32:52,990 --> 01:32:54,873

I'm not taking a peek while we're in the car.

:

01:32:54,873 --> 01:33:01,509

I'm like taking a look maybe like through the, the rear view just to make sure nothing's

popping out of it while we're driving.

:

01:33:01,509 --> 01:33:03,070

But otherwise I'm like, you know what?

:

01:33:03,070 --> 01:33:06,024

I'm pretending there's not a scary box in the back of the car.

:

01:33:06,024 --> 01:33:07,205

I've done this before.

:

01:33:07,205 --> 01:33:08,805

I'm just going to keep driving.

:

01:33:09,662 --> 01:33:20,380

Yeah, you look and you don't see anything moving out of the box and you're able to get

safely back to Luke Air Force Base.

:

01:33:20,380 --> 01:33:28,568

You see the Telltale Suburban out there and Agent Butterfield has taken off his jacket and

is awaiting you.

:

01:33:28,949 --> 01:33:31,903

Looks like he might have got some Z's while you were gone too.

:

01:33:31,903 --> 01:33:33,365

but still covered in sweat.

:

01:33:33,365 --> 01:33:39,480

And he grabs his jacket as you approach and puts it back on to look professional.

:

01:33:39,480 --> 01:33:42,515

It's ill-fitted and a little big on him.

:

01:33:42,515 --> 01:33:44,807

And he walks towards you.

:

01:33:44,807 --> 01:33:45,542

There he is.

:

01:33:45,542 --> 01:33:48,135

Well, you guys are back a lot faster than I expected.

:

01:33:48,135 --> 01:33:54,074

And he looks at the windshield that's all beat up and there's still bullet holes in the

car.

:

01:33:54,074 --> 01:33:55,317

Probably missing a mirror.

:

01:33:55,317 --> 01:33:57,452

Seems like you engaged directly.

:

01:33:57,452 --> 01:33:58,992

What gave you that idea?

:

01:33:59,199 --> 01:34:00,322

Yeah, yeah.

:

01:34:00,322 --> 01:34:02,225

Well anyway, did you find anything?

:

01:34:02,225 --> 01:34:04,087

What intel did you gather?

:

01:34:04,990 --> 01:34:10,461

Well listen, unfortunately, whoever was driving that truck is not quite as gifted as I am

behind the wheel.

:

01:34:10,461 --> 01:34:11,824

And he threw a rod.

:

01:34:11,824 --> 01:34:14,959

So we couldn't get everything back in one piece, but we took what we could.

:

01:34:14,959 --> 01:34:16,155

great, good, good.

:

01:34:16,155 --> 01:34:17,140

Thank you.

:

01:34:17,140 --> 01:34:18,342

Is it in the back?

:

01:34:18,380 --> 01:34:19,036

Sure is.

:

01:34:19,036 --> 01:34:31,671

Yeah, he flips open the door, the back pulls the box forward covered in blood from the guy

who was shot on top of it and says, well, what's in it?

:

01:34:32,375 --> 01:34:33,402

thought you knew this already.

:

01:34:33,402 --> 01:34:34,519

You tell us.

:

01:34:35,488 --> 01:34:36,789

I just knew they had something.

:

01:34:36,789 --> 01:34:42,554

Do you mind getting your guns ready?

:

01:34:42,554 --> 01:34:43,259

boy.

:

01:34:43,259 --> 01:34:48,363

For the first time, I'm gonna holster my rifle and pull out my submachine gun.

:

01:34:49,322 --> 01:35:03,667

Yeah, he reaches into a pocket and puts on glasses and then goes to the two locks, flips

them up, turns a metal key, flips open another latch, and then slowly grabs it, looks

:

01:35:03,667 --> 01:35:14,572

nervously to everybody to make sure he's covered, and says a Hail Mary under his breath

and opens it in some loft of...

:

01:35:14,878 --> 01:35:20,175

icy cool air comes out of it and a humming sound as well.

:

01:35:20,175 --> 01:35:30,311

And in it is a large silver oval that has spike points on the ends and it looks about the

size of a skull.

:

01:35:30,311 --> 01:35:31,093

He looks at you.

:

01:35:31,093 --> 01:35:33,338

They sure did think this was important.

:

01:35:33,338 --> 01:35:36,163

And he goes to touch it.

:

01:35:36,163 --> 01:35:37,043

See.

:

01:35:37,175 --> 01:35:41,482

He's able to keep his sanity as he touches it and he just holds it up.

:

01:35:41,482 --> 01:35:49,964

It's like, well, I suppose the lab will probably have to figure out what this thing does,

but I appreciate you guys coming out here and getting it for us.

:

01:35:50,883 --> 01:35:54,410

Hopefully they wanted this and not the bunch of caskets in the back too.

:

01:35:54,410 --> 01:35:55,757

you found caskets in the back.

:

01:35:55,757 --> 01:35:57,006

Would they have bodies in them?

:

01:35:57,006 --> 01:35:57,678

what they looked like.

:

01:35:57,678 --> 01:36:03,194

We didn't really have a lot of time to check, but this is the only thing that fit in the

car, so that's what you're gonna get.

:

01:36:03,206 --> 01:36:07,561

Hey, I appreciate your guys' work and it's been a pleasure.

:

01:36:07,561 --> 01:36:12,633

really, you know, on behalf of the program, want to thank you for coming out in such short

notice.

:

01:36:12,633 --> 01:36:14,015

You're a lifesaver.

:

01:36:14,015 --> 01:36:22,584

And he puts it back in the chest and closes it and tries to pick it up and then looks over

to you, Agent Dave.

:

01:36:22,584 --> 01:36:24,665

He's like, you mind giving me a hand?

:

01:36:24,797 --> 01:36:37,658

sigh and I want to take out a cigarette and I want to very like elegantly slash

dexterously light it no problem and then fucking lift the thing up for him.

:

01:36:37,658 --> 01:36:49,395

Yeah, yeah, it's the biggest in your face that he could have gotten as you light the smoke

and grab the box and help him load it into his suburban.

:

01:36:49,795 --> 01:36:58,245

He gets in, takes his jacket off again, throws it in the passenger seat and gives you a

little wave and says, well, AC 130's still here.

:

01:36:58,245 --> 01:37:00,026

You might want to ditch the.

:

01:37:00,096 --> 01:37:04,201

the truck and he points to your SUV and takes off.

:

01:37:04,201 --> 01:37:06,954

Anything you want to say to him before he leaves.

:

01:37:09,835 --> 01:37:11,771

You really got no idea what this thing is.

:

01:37:11,771 --> 01:37:15,340

And he looks at you and says, not really, sorry.

:

01:37:15,340 --> 01:37:17,311

and then takes off.

:

01:37:17,311 --> 01:37:24,621

gonna throw my guns over my shoulders and be like all right boys on to the next one and

start heading towards the AC 130.

:

01:37:24,621 --> 01:37:25,585

oh

:

01:37:26,184 --> 01:37:29,183

Yeah, you guys help in Agent Burbridge get there.

:

01:37:29,183 --> 01:37:30,230

definitely.

:

01:37:30,250 --> 01:37:31,574

Yeah, was gonna...

:

01:37:31,574 --> 01:37:35,624

Braver's just gonna kinda like lean over, hey, you wanna help me out?

:

01:37:35,819 --> 01:37:37,142

I was like, I promise you a steak.

:

01:37:37,142 --> 01:37:38,945

When we land, I'll get you a steak.

:

01:37:39,889 --> 01:37:40,521

Yeah.

:

01:37:40,521 --> 01:37:42,884

You know, could kill for some Wendy's actually.

:

01:37:42,884 --> 01:37:44,510

pick the cow and I'll shoot it for

:

01:37:44,510 --> 01:37:50,416

He's gonna need a hospital first.

:

01:37:50,416 --> 01:37:56,295

You get to the AC 130, tap the back of it where the pilot is.

:

01:37:56,295 --> 01:37:58,597

He starts doing his pre-flight check.

:

01:37:58,597 --> 01:38:07,757

the engines whirl up and you are off and getting the hell out of the desert back to home.

:

01:38:08,017 --> 01:38:18,158

And each of you notice under your seats, a large stack of cash, about $60,000, pretty good

for:

:

01:38:18,158 --> 01:38:21,998

something to enjoy the short amount of time you have left on this earth.
